She was scared to cut my hair to fix it, very uneven, sticks up everywhere. Buy products on Amazon though, the oil in the pink bottle is $90 at this salon but $30 on Amazon. Gave 4 stars because it was a very welcoming experience and she is very communicative and kind.

Love love love this place. I only went in to check the integrity of my hair because it was really bleach damaged before I cut most of it off. I didn't get the kind lady's name but she was super nice! I haven't trusted hair stylists with my hair in years but I'll definitely be coming here to get my hair done next time instead of doing it myself at home!

I recently moved to the area and was in search of a new hairstylist. I got highlights here a couple of months ago and I've never been so satisfied with the color. Woo Jin is very professional and cares about her work. I'll definitely be a returning customer.

This review is several years overdue because I was selfish and wanted to keep Arte a secret (it took me almost 1 year and several botched haircuts from places that supposedly specialize in Asian hair). Why? Because I wanted to be able to get an appointment pretty quickly, but the last several times, it's been easy getting an appointment and my hair still looks great even when it's a few months past when I should get a haircut. One time, someone asked me where I get my hair cut because she loved my hairstyle (this was 3-4 months since my cut and I went out without styling my hair). If you want a hair stylist who actually spends time on your hair (1 hour is typical) instead of rushing you out, give Arte Salon a chance. If she's with a client, she doesn't like to answer phones, but she will call you back as soon as possible. In the years since I've been going here, not once am I pressured to buy hair products or do something I don't want. Honestly, my hair always seems to come back to life every time I get my hair cut here. Don't let my lack of creative writing deter you from giving this place a chance. Worth checking out if you're looking for a place that actually KNOWS how to cut Asian hair, or just a place where thr stylist spends more than 20 minutes on you.

I love this salon, stylist, cut and color! It is honestly the best salon and most personalized attention that I have ever received. The stylist takes time to discuss color and cut. She asks questions to make sure that she is coloring and cutting exactly how you want. I learned of this salon from my daughter who goes there. The stylist currently only takes one person at a time and is super safe taking all Covid precautions. It is a beautiful place and a wonderful private stylist!

I've been very happy with Arte for 5 years now for my cut and color (I need to get my roots touched up every 2 months). Post COVID: The owner takes 1 client at a time and masks are required (take a disposable if you are getting a dye job!). She spaces out clients by >15 min to disinfect the chairs, sink and bathroom after EACH client! Its super clean and she does a great job as always!

Amazing hair salon with a super dedicated and passionate hairstylist! Woo-jin took all of the necessary precautions to keep herself and her clients safe and comfortable during the COVID-19 pandemic. She ensures that you keep your mask on throughout the whole visit and she only works with one client at a time to truly focus on them. She is a true artist who transformed my dry, brittle, yellow untoned hair into shiny, healthy and beautifully balayaged hair.

I got my haircut on Friday but waited until after washing my hair to leave the review. I must say I'm very impressed! The owner is very detailed and passionate with her work. She is also very knowledgeable of your face shape and hair type so she can give you the haircut that best compliments your face. I got a perm 6 months ago and she manifested my permed hair amazingly! She cut it and manage to leave a bit of the c and s curl behind (which is from the perm) so that my hair does not look flat (lob/bob hair can look very flat, especially if you have naturally straight hair like I do). She is an artist!! Also, she doesn't take walk-ins and only takes reservations so call for reservations before coming so you're not wasting your time driving! The reason why she doesn't take walk-ins is that she can solely concentrate on working with one customer and provide the best service! That's to me is pure passion! P/s: Thank you so much! I thoroughly enjoy my haircut and my experience! I'll return! - Trang.

I should not be adding a rating because I didn't go to the place yet. I tried to call them a couple of times to make an appointment and nobody picks up the phone. I called them during their business hours.
