My experience with Patient First Abington was a very good visit. The staff was professional from beginning to end my wait time was less than 5 min and overall visit was less than an hour I left with my medication. Not in a rush to go back but if I need urgent care that is the only place I am going to!!

I’ve only been to this location for 2 times the first visit was great but my second visit was the worse they had me waiting for two hours just for somebody to come back into the room to check me, and when I finally did get checked by Dr. Chris Kirby, he was very offensive

I went to this location in a snowstorm. They saw me quickly and sent a prescription to a pharmacy that they recommended. The pharmacy claims to never gotten a prescription, I keep calling each place and they point the finger at the other place. I am home sick with pneumonia and need to pick up meds before I get worse.

I used to like this urgent care but after my most recent experience, I won’t be back. I came in for a specific test (that I have done plenty of times previously) and they tried to argue me down on how *they* wanted to do it. As someone who has done this specific test plenty of times in the past, I know that there is a way to do it myself as the patient. When I explained this to them, the PA was trying to argue me down and convince me to do it their way (which was invasive and if I wanted it don’t their way, I would’ve waited a couple weeks for an appointment for my regular doctor for the specific reason I came in). If you need to advocate for yourself in regards to your health, don’t come here as they will make it very hard to do so.

The wait time to see a Doc once you’re in the bay was every bit of 30 minutes. I am completely insured, the service was paid for by my insurance plan and yet still they are billing me for services from 6/323. I’ve contacted them about making corrections numerous times and each time they state they are so sorry, will fix it and to disregard the statement. Here we are now in 2024 I just received another billing statement from last summers visit. This place will continue sending you unpaid bills even after your insurance plan has paid them. Stay clear of Patient First, now I have to place a 4 th call to them asking that this gets corrected once again. Don’t go to this place better off going anywhere else.

Lol they got the diagnosis actually wrong (without sharing too much patient into). This was after a 2 hour wait. I’m not sure if the providers are burnt out, or if they’re just purely incompetent.

Great place. Unfortunately, a 2 hour wait. However, once seen I received excellent care. The doctor even called me later in the evening to suggest I might need an additional medication.

When they say patience is virtue, this place has really become a 2-3 hour wait with only 4-5 patients sitting in the waiting room. Next time I'd probably go straight to Abington Hospital emergency room and get better service than what I have experienced today, and all I needed was a ten maybe 15 minute ear flush due to a wax buildup in one ear. People you have to do better it really use to be the best.
