If Bob Iger or anyone else regulates these reviews, I truly hope they know how much of a terrible idea it was.. pulling out of the Canadian market to focus on a failing e-commerce platform.
Remember that we all social creatures, we like to hands-on shop especially when new products are constantly being released, it is important to have at least 1 brick and mortar store around for people to try and pop in to actually get a gauge/vibe on the item(s) they want to purchase for themselves or as a gift.
Please consider bringing back the Disney Stores in the the Canadian market. Bring in the e-commerce into Canada too, believe it that Canadians love Disney too and will be willing to spend the right money on things without breaking the bank savings. It costs twice as much to ship an item over online from the US and it does not even consider the duties that gets tacked on when the item is crossing the US/Canada border. a $20 USD item costs about the same price to ship into Canada and then after the duty and brokerage.. by the time a Canadian guest receives it, it works out to nearly 100 CAD after the 1.36 exchange rate.”
“My husband and I stopped by at this store today 01/06/24. I found a medium unisex graphic t-shirt that have catnip madness on it, a Neko strawberry plush keychain, and a pusheen pancake squisheen. The store associate was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The associate informed me that if I scan the QR code I can get $5.00 off and it was a pleasant surprise that she added another discount (Disclaimer: No, I wasn't being a demanding/entitled Karen. I honestly don't know why she gave me the discount not that I am complaining.). Overall, we are very happy with our shopping experience at this store. The store associate left a good impression on both me and my husband. We will definitely come back to shop at this store again. Kudos, to the store associate that rang my items for purchase today and thank you for the discount. Keep up the awesome customer service!”
“We went to the outlets today to grab some specific items, we decided to treat our daughter to a BAB on whim. We went in with a pretty tight budget, and even though our daughter had to pick from a smaller selection to accommodate our budget, the woman working there was able to make it a really fun experience for her. Our daughter is having a hard time hearing currently and after we told Lauren, the woman working this morning, was awesome. She spoke clear and loud enough for our girl to hear her, but kept an upbeat and happy tone which a lot of people struggle to do. It was a great experience and even though we couldn’t get any clothes or accessories today, my daughter still felt that it was a whimsical and magical experience thanks to Lauren’s attention and excitement towards our girl.
