“My go to place if I have a need for new trail shoes. Unfortunately I didn't find what I needed or actually I did but it was not the traditional Merrell wide toe box design. Actually it's been some time now that Merrell has been making their shoes more narrow...or perhaps focusing on the mass market... Which is a bummer for me as I have wide feet and their shoes use to fit me very well. I tried on the Vapor Glove trail shoe and it was so incredibly narrow I could not even put it on for the normal size I wear. Oh well...overall, great store but taking away one star as the prices are not quite as good as they used to be unless you buy one pair and get a second at 1/2 price and the fact that the shoes are generally narrower and doesn't work for me.”

The customer service here is one of the best I’ve experienced in a long time with someone welcoming me in and telling me about the sales and promo, another helping me find the right size, another sharing her experience about the store with me, and overall they do check up’s and are always there for me! And not just the employees, but the shoes here are so comfortable and exactly what my feet needed. I wish this store is more popular and I hope others hear about it too and receive the same service I did. In the end I purchased 3 shoes and some shoe cleaners and I will be returning here again, 10/10?”
“I am really satisfied with the shoes that I have purchased here a while back, and I would love to share my thanks with the specific employee, John. John greeted me in and helped me look for the most comfortable shoes that my big feet could handle and sure enough, he delivered my expectations because these shoes were what I need. John was also kind enough to hear my story and answer any questions that I had to ask and he wasn’t those kind of employees that you could tell would rush and hurry up or have this annoyance face on him, no no John was so patient with me and our conversation led to a sweet relationship that a customer and an employee should have. I’ll be sure to shop here again, and I’m sorry for the big mess I left behind.”

“I’d like to thank one of the sales associates, Ben. I tried to leave feedback on the sales feedback form via the website, but there was no place for comments??? Anyways:I came into the store with my three young children, who were feeling particularly feral. I needed shoes for everyone, so we tried on shoes and my kids ran amok. At one point, my youngest daughter destroyed a sock display at the entrance to one of the aisles. She had created a mountain of socks. I was horrified and tried to put them back, but Ben quickly came over and assured me it was Ok and that he didn’t mind putting it back together. He sat for probably 5-10 minutes with my two daughters, helping them reassemble the sock display. I was able to finish my shopping and my daughters were thrilled to help. They got “fist-bumps” when it was all picked up. Thanks so much, Ben, and Vans, for a great shopping experience.”

“Staff asked right away if we needed help finding anything. My grandson has very large feet for his age (like his father's) and the gal was clearly knowledgeable about the brands they carry, including which ones run large vs small, or wide vs narrow. She was able to guide us straight to the brand that would work best for him. Prices aren't cheap, but they're fair - and they were doing a buy one pair, get one half off sale. They also check the contents of the boxes when you check out to be sure the correct shoes are in the box - it would be a drag to get home and find 2 left shoes or 2 different sizes. I imagine it also discourages shoplifting. Thanks!”

“Sunday, Dec. 11th workers (mid-day) -- kudos to you and your AMAZINGLY above and beyond attitude!The manager (I believe or supervisor) and a newer cashier that helped me on Sunday went above and beyond their duties. I was greeted, asked if I needed help, given small talk, and they helped me find items I was looking for. They went well above their duties to try and help me find what I needed. The cashier was new I believe and she was totally willing to help and learn. She asked her supervisor/manager maybe for help, and they worked together to find what I was looking for. We didn't find it, but they did all they could, which is much more than any other store that day. I went next door to osh kosh b'gosh and the entire experience and vibe of the store was drastically different. Carters employees needs to go over and train the other store on greeting customers, pleasant customer exchange and less attitude. A smile and pleasant exchange goes A LONG way....I was having a stressful morning, I started to get a migraine and I just wasn't having it. Store after store, people had attitude and you walk into these stores and no one says a word. They act as if you're bugging them when you ask for another size or direction of an item. NOT at carters, not these employees. 2 out of 32 stores gave me customer service and a great experience that day! Carter's, for helping me believe that customer service and friendly workers still exist and want to help you have an amazing experience, especially during the holidays, on a weekend, most importantly after the last couple years we've had. I'll be back....and I plan to tell my friends and followers! Yay for you guys!”
“Warmly welcomed in, we were on a last minute quest, it so happened to be the very LAST shoes store we tried in the whole Company Stores after driving up from Salem having no luck finding my girlfriend work shoes. Crystal helped us find some non slip black shoes that will work just great! Thank you for going above and beyond and also recommending some waterproof running shoes for me in my line of work.
