“I have been to Valley Drugs and love the small town charm and easy in and out. They opened a new store at 250 NW Main Street in Winston. It is an independent pharmacy. They are a Regence Blue Shield Preferred Pharmacy so have similar rates to the larger pharmacies in town-only without the wait time! You may pay a tiny bit more but it's worth it to me to support local. The store has much of the standard items you'd find in a drug store plus some really cute specialty items that you wouldn't find at a chain drug store.”

“Great prices for some things. If buying firearms, be aware, I'm an instant approval everywhere but here. Not sure if they entered my info wrong (as they had to clarify several things after entering my info). But it was disappointing. They have great unadvertised sales sometimes so it's worth a look every now and then. They limit some sales to 2 boxes of ammo per customer. Overall, it's become an addition to my ammo buying.”

“I wish they were open more hours but the pharmacists and technicians are great. All of them. They check to see which card gets me the best price and just make going to the pharmacy easy, not hard. There used to be a heavy set gal with dark curly hair here that always made things ridiculous and had poor customer service skills. She worked the drive through mainly. If she's still there I don't know, I go inside.”

“This is the best pharmacy! They are so courteous, efficient, fast, and reordering is a snap. I have used them for years and there has never been a screw up or problem unlike some of the regular pharmacies I have to use for other types of meds. One my cats was getting a compounded medicine for a while, and when they found out that she had passed, I even received a sympathy card from them. I was so surprised and touched. I wish more pharmacies operated in such a fashion.”

“Just would like to say the review by "Penny P" is utter bull sh**. I don't work at this location but I've worked at others- it's impossible to "delete" coverage in the pharmacy- it's looked up when prescriptions are processed if there's nothing there, and can be easily added. And if you don't work back there there is no way to even access it. It's illegal and no pharmacist would allow it- total lies. And also impossible to buy something discounted and return for profit- the discount you paid is saved to your membership number, you'll be refunded what you paid, or not at all if your number wasn't used to buy it. Not sure the story why this ladies making up lies- Revenge? Schizophrenia? Anyway, name dropping people at their place of work on yelp and making up lies is kind of evil. Clearly some Karen out for revenge. Please ignore it.”

“Great customer service from employee Dina at checkout !! She goes above and beyond helping patrons by keeping up to date with the latest sales. It was truly wonderful to see her help a fellow customer save money. She also made sure that our items were priced and discounted appropriately as well. This store is always clean, I see the usual staff members stocking produce. They are also friendly and ask if I need any help. I always clip coupons through my app on Wednesdays when the weekly ads start over and it's a great way to save more money. “Thanksgiving weekend wasn't quite what we hoped. Visiting family in Brookings, on Wednesday night we ended up in the emergency room in Gold Beach. My husband had acute back pain. They did a CT scan showeling nothing. & sent us home with muscle relaxers. When it hadn't subsided at all by Friday morning, we took the 3 hour drive to the Roseburg. VA. The facility was clean, comfortable and efficient. We were taken in immediately. Jeremy, RN, was the perfect combination of professionalism and personal concern. Mary, the PA, was equally proficient and compassionate. She could've easily dismissed the complaint as a muscle back strain. But we knew that it was something very different. She got him quickly to radiology before they closed for x-rays and had the radiologist review that and his previous CT tests from the emergency room visit. After talking with my husband about some other symptoms, she concluded he had most likely passed a stone Wednesday night and was also experiencing muscle spasms from a long car ride. My husbands pain is so acute she prescribed diazepam and naproxen which finally took the edge off for the poor man who had been in pain for 3 days. By the next day he was recuperating. We can't say enough about their care and concern.”

“My sons bottle spilled in the car and we had no food for him. We stopped here and the associate showed us where the formula was! They had his specific brand in stock and it was fairly reasonable. We also got a 6 pack of bottled water. The line at the cash register was long, but she got through it quickly and professionally. I had two methods of payment, check and card and she did it effectively. Everything was great.”

“Good experience with their pharmacy so far. And unfortunately, after many years with albertsons. I have a fresh pass and there are pharmacy. I can never get them to pick app the phone I can call them a 100 times and my dog has seized your meds. I have mirroring a lot of different meds. I am a caregiver. I sell my mom's meds around my profile and if they never answer the phone. Fortunately, I'm going to have to switch everything over to Safeway. Fortunately with my fresh pass. I guess I can just start getting all my groceries and everything from them delivered. It's not too much further away. Albertsons closer, but I'm in a wheelchair. So it's important That I have contact with them before I schedule medical transport to drop me off. Or if they're going to wait, you know, my prescriptions all need to be ready.”
