“My husband, me, and our two senior dogs stopped by at this location on 12/19/23 to buy cans of wet food for our cats, glass cat bowls, pet throws, and an XXL durable mat for our two geriatric dogs to share. At that time, we didn't know that store location is closing and it's unfortunate because we have been to this pet store several times and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Hopefully, you guys can just relocate to a different location, since we do like stopping by whenever we are in Sherwood. Kudos to Denice the cashier who rang our purchase that day, she was able to price matched items I found on sale on the petco website. Keep up the awesome customer service : )”

“Good pet store in Sherwood with doggie treats bar sold by the pound. Staff is friendly. Fred (shown in picture) gets his mani-pedi done at Guardian Vet next door, so that's how I found Mud Bay. Maybe call it Pet Bay or Muddie Pets to attract more customers. Just a suggestion.Fred's treats favs are peanut butter molasses, sweet potato, and bacon cheese. It seems like a well run pet store without the corporate feel. Staff friendly, well trained, and professional. Check em out for a happy pet stuff store in Sherwood.”

“I love Cat Adoption Team! I was there a couple of weeks ago and adopted a senior cat named Guava. CAT had already examined her medically and cleaned her teeth, so I knew she was healthy. And because Guava was a senior cat, she was eligible for all sorts of extra benefits, including a heated bed (which she still loves), and supply of canned and dry cat food (which she also still loves). And nine years ago, I adopted a cat from. The facility is clean, and all the cats are obviously well cared for. Highly recommend!”

“I come here for one thing and one thing only--the best Timothy hay for my 2 bunnies. I don't live or work on a farm, I have access to conveniently-delivered hay from other sources, but I go out of my way to make it to A&J's because my two little house bunnies deserve the best quality hay that stays green and fresh for much longer than pet suppliers and at 75% off the cost in of the small quantity supplies elsewhere. Even if I have to share it with other bunny homes, I am happy to support local farmers and have recommended this place to neighbors and friends with rabbits or Guinea pigs.”

Trimmers only for my puppers that cannot stand nail work but the gal was so calm and patient with her! Definitely going back and shared info with many others.”

“Only been the one time so far, but the employees were amazing when I asked about the restroom, walked me all the way there since it was kind of hard to find, and gave excellent pointers for the bully stick that I got for my friends dog on his 1 yr b-day! They also have huge bags of dog food, that last our 2 dogs a whole month, for a reasonable price.”

“If you like salt water coral and fish you can frequently find some hidden gems in the tanks. They won't usually have fancy names or price tags but if you're willing to give the coral some time to color up you won't be disappointed. Only reason for 4x stars is that the coral tanks some times look like they need some attention, some frags have slow tissue necrosis and some pests can be seen. If you quarantine and dip you'll be fine but don't risk it otherwise.”

“Canby Wilco grooming was wonderful. 2 dogs groomed at the same time, so it was two different groomers (names unknown). They did exactly what we asked. It took less than 3 hours. Plus, a better price than PetSmart. We saved money going to Wilco in Canby.”

Noticed a Betta fish with a crooked back and swim bladder disease so I adopted him without mentioning anything because every time I have, I'm told I can't have that particular animal for whatever reason (I'm sure some kind of liability) He is alive and doing well though. “We have 3 dogs, small (3 yrs), medium (9 yrs) & large (2yrs). The 2yr old has digestive issues. Came in to search for a new food with a good probiotic. It needs to be a food they can all eat, because, have you ever tried feeding your dogs different things? They are just as bad as kids! They eat out of each others bowls. I had done some research before coming in, and was going to try a few different brands. Fortunately, we chanced upon Katie, who is also one of the trainers there. She was very knowledgeable about the foods and had experience with dogs with food allergies & digestion issues. She recommended a food for us to try. Fingers crossed it works!I like going into the store when I need help. Beyond that I shop online and get repeat delivery. Saves time & money!”

“My daughter and I went here to look at birds. They had quite a few to look at. My daughter really enjoyed them, and would like to own some someday.I like the concept of birds. They can fly. They are often very colorful in ways that mammals aren't. Like, there are blue birds, but not blue mammals. And some of the ones you find in pet stores can even talk.But these birds were giving me a funny look. Like they didn't want me being there. My daughter thinks it's because I kept saying we were at the pets-mart, but that the place it actually pronounced pet-smart.Other than that, it was a very well stocked pet store. I won't hold it against the birds. It is possible that I was in the wrong. I will say in my defense that the fish and lizards were not offended by my presence.”

“A couple of days ago I decided to rehome my fish. I went to Petco in Tigard where I have shopped many times before. My favorite employee there Tara helped me instead I came home with a new aquarium with everything to set it up. I want people to know Tara went above and beyond what is expected of an employee. I am physically limited in what I can do nor did I know how to set this up. Tara came to my house after work and set this up for me. I am so greatful there are people like Tara in our world. Please shop Petco in Tigard.”
“Nature's Pet Market is much smaller than the big chain stores, but that can be a good thing. They have a great selection of pet foods, treats, accessories, and toys. Also, the staff is quite knowledgeable (unlike the folks at the chain stores!).”
