This is my 2nd time working with Kahren and her team on a new home purchase. I’ve also used Kahren and her team for a few refinances on my previous home loan. This team is top notch and extremely knowledgeable. They always keep me updated every step of the way and council me on what makes the best sense financially. I trust them implicitly and have referred many friends to them. You cannot go wrong with Kahren and UMortgage!

There aren't enough superlatives to describe Kahren. She helped us purchase our first Portland home in 2014 and ten years later, we're still utilizing Kahren's expertise and experience. Along with multiple refinances over the years, Kahren recently helped us purchase two rental properties. Kahren is responsive, consistent, knowledgeable, and an absolute joy to work with. We are going to continue to use Kahren and recommend her to all our friends and family. We can't imagine working with anyone else.

Kahren and her team were spectacular to work with In buying our first home, I couldn’t have imagined a better experience! From their continuous updates and checking in, to getting me a lower rate than was initially quoted, I was extremely at ease through the whole process and felt like I was talking to someone who genuinely had my best interest at heart and felt like one of those friend connections where you say to yourself “yup, I know she’s the one to get this taken care of” her professionalism and her friendly spirit made all the difference in the world and my little family couldn’t be happier to have worked with her! Unlike the Army, Kahren is a dream to work with!
Its been almost a year since I closed on my home. I'm a retired warrant officer so I've been just procrastinating for this whole time. It's mostly consisted of waking up after 9am and thinking of ways to get out of PT then remembering that I don't have to do that anymore.
From day one I appreciated Kahren's honesty, upbeat can do attitude and transparency in the process of financing my home via a VA loan. Unlike the road to Baghdad there were no surprises...

I can't say thank you enough to Kahren and her great team!
Kahren is truly one of the best. Recently we had a unique deal that need to close quickly in order to stay under contract. The clients originally were working with a different lender that wasn't responding to them in a timely manner. I introduced the buyer to Kahren and within 8 business days we closed the deal. Not only is Kahren quick and efficient she got the client a much better loan product and rate. If you are an agent and you want to have great communication and transparency look no further. If you are a buyer or in need of a refinance Kahren and team will get you to the best loan that will fit your needs. Can't recommend enough. I know where my future clients will be referred too.

Kahren and her team were absolutely amazing in every way. We were trying to adopt but were living in an apartment at the time and wanted to buy a house to help us on our journey. Well Kahren and Umortgage made the process so easy and were attentive to our every need. We were also talking with a larger institution at the time and Kahren and her team were always available to give us quotes whenever we needed them. The larger institution were not available like Umortgage was when we needed them. We also got much better offers from Kahren. After finding our dream home we also had another miracle on Easter Day and found out we were expecting a child that we didn't think was possible. We moved into our dream home thanks to Kahren and our new child was born is now thriving in this wonderful home.
It's hard to state how wonderful Kahren and Umortgage are but we recommend to any and everyone! Thank you so much!!

After a horrible experience with a previous broker who left us high and dry to the point we almost lost the property we were trying to buy, Kahren and her team swooped in and saved the day! My husband and I are beyond grateful for how hard she worked to get us approved for unconventional financing on an unusual property and she even negotiated the interest rate down to save us money! And this all happened in THREE WEEKS. The previous lender sat on our information for that same amount of time and let us know two days before our closing date that we didn’t have a lender. Wish we had just gone with Kahren in the first place to save us from all the stress, but lesson learned! Only Kahren from here on out! We love her!
