Logan and the whole Ability Center team in Wilsonville really out did themselves finding my mom the perfect van for her needs. Logan went above and beyond all expectations finding a van with low miles, all bells an whistles, and within budget. He would bring each potential vehicle to us so we could test it out to make sure it met mom's needs and I was comfortable driving it. We finally found the right style of van and it was almost perfect, but we needed some additional modifications. Logan andChris (the engineering genius) engineered a special grab bar that fit into the floor tracks and is adjustable and removable. Now my mom can safely lower and lift herself in and out the back seat without help, reducing the risk of injuries to both of us. The grab bar can be easily repositioned or removed as needed.This may seem like a small thing to most people, but for us, this is life changing. Most people are probably unaware of how difficult it is to find accessable vehicles in the Portland Metro area or how expensive it is to modify a vehicle to make it accessable. Logan and the Ability Center team made it affordable and far less stressful.

Working with the Ability Center in Wilsonville Oregon was a challenge and disappointing. We came to them to install a car lift on the passenger side of my car. During installation they found that it would not fit into my vehicle. I was told they had contacted the manufacturer about the issue but I found out later they did not speak to a technician. I should have gone elsewhere to have it installed. It turned into such a fiasco I no longer wanted to deal with it.We decided to find a wheelchair van in our price range. Several months later in November the Wilsonville location called me about a van. We had to wait about six weeks for the van to go through reconditioning. I was told that reconditioning was a thorough evaluation of the vehicle including repairs to the engine, interior and fixing exterior dents and dings. I was told the van was done and we could sign the paperwork. In the paperwork there was an inspection report outlining what work needed to be done. Of most concern to me was a strut/shock that needed to be replaced and low transmission fluids along with several other issues. We asked for the records of the repairs. They didn’t have it because the repairs were never done. The van was returned to the repair shop. The work was completed except for an oil change that should have been part of the recon. The oil change was due 12/16. We picked up the van on 12/20.All of these employees were friendly and courteous. It’s unfortunate they can’t get the job done. I am happy with the van.

Kari was great in finding us the perfect van. She took the time to explain the options and the vehicle. She also provided a contact for a pre evaluation when another recommended person failed to return calls. This was all new for me, so really appreciated the time she spent with us and everyone in the office was very helpful.

The service technician Jeremy Dudley at the Fresno CA Ability Center has been phenomenal! He takes great care of our vehicle and is always timely. When we had a collision, he worked collaboratively with the collision center to help procure parts and offer advice. Stellar employee!
