PODS safely and securely delivered my items from NC to OR in a timely manner. Nothing was broken upon arrival. All employees were very prompt in keep me up-to-date with all parts of the move. All instructions were easy to use and understand.

Overall I have had a good experience with PODS moving and storage. Drivers have all been very friendly and helpful. Darren was our last driver and he was very friendly and professional. I would use them again.

Couldn’t deliver to our home. Had to hire a local mover and a truck and do the move from a storage facility an hour round trip away (x a couple of trips). Not what was agreed to and they shouldn’t have committed to the move if they couldn’t deliver. I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be using again.

Previous moves with PODS have been terrific. This one - NO! We had a unit stored at the White City facility for almost 4 years. We scheduled an 8:30am time to have the POD available at that location so that two professional movers with a truck could unload it and move the contents to a storage unit closer to Medford. We arrived at 8:15am to find the facility gate unlocked, the office dark and locked and no one to be found. I called the movers and told them to wait to hear from me before heading over. Waited until 8:30, still no one. Called 1-800 number and explained situation. Was put on hold and then told they had reached manager who said he would call staff who were ON SITE and tell them to come to front to meet us. We explained again there was no one around. We were put on hold again. Manager then told rep to tell us a driver would be there in ten minutes to help us and get our POD pulled out for us. 20 minutes pass and another customer arrives with their own help and U-haul truck to empty their POD. I explain our own problem and they also call 1-800. I call 1-800 again and customer rep calls manager again who says driver will be there “any minute”. This is now more than an hour after my scheduled time, and both times I called 1-800 I had asked the phone rep to have the manager call me directly, which he never did. Two drivers arrived with PODS in their trucks. One exceptionally wonderful, helpful, apologetic driver named Darren came over and explained they had to unload their trucks and then they had to move multiple PODS to get to mine and it would take about 20 minutes before mine would be available. Darren was stupendous. I finally got into my POD almost two hours after my scheduled time. I had to pay an hour of time ($100+/hr) to my movers to wait before they could begin work, and the manager STILL has never called me. He never showed up to work either by the time we left. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL manager who lied about staff being on site, driver being “10 minutes away”, and never calling a customer when being asked to twice by corporate customer service department. Darren the driver SAVED the day with his attitude and apologies and making things right. KUDOS to Darren! I will NOT be recommending PODS to anyone, unless I know Darren is managing the move AND the facility!

Online experience was horrible. I had to go through 6 different CS folks who couldn't' resolve the issue, wouldn't involve a supervisor, and failed to follow their own policies. It finally took an experienced CS rep to figure out my account was a bit older and wouldn't update. Had to delete the old account and create a new account so credit card could process. Let employees think versus using a diagnostic tree and update your policies.

We have a pretty big 3 year experience with PODS. Left SoCal with 2 PODS for upstate NY. Warehoused and paid monthly for 2 years; then moved all the way back across the country to Ashland OR. In addition we loaded two more PODS in upstate NY - making 4 PODS traveling cross country (again!) The POD drop off and pick up guys were all thoughtful and friendly. ESPECIALLY Darren in Ashland who not only was wonderfully friendly but welcomed us to our new home and gave us lots of hiking and area suggestions. THANK YOU DARREN - YOU'RE AWESOME!The POD company was a little odd in their inconsistent billing but in the end they billed as quoted and NOTHING was damaged with 4 PODS and 6 trips cross country ...so we're thankful. Good workers. Friendly attitude in the 5 we met.
