Came in to have an old paint color I purchased in 2017 remixed and matched, staff was friendly and welcoming, made sure I had everything I needed. Awesome customer service, really made me feel welcomed. Gentleman who helped me was knowledgeable about the paint type, and helped me select a good quantity matching my needs and keeping me within job budget. Plus, the paint match turned out perfectly. “I handle all of the procurement for the company I work for. For the past year, I have dealt exclusively with David S. with Sasco for all of our fasteners. We manufacture large solar arrays that require a ton of fasteners. From 1.5" threaded rod, 5/8 & 3/4 A325 bolts and hardware, to stainless socket cap screws and uni strut nuts, they have everything I need. When in a pinch, I can always count on David answering his phone, finding me what I need, and getting it to me as fast as humanly possible.I highly recommend Sasco for all of your fastener needs. They can get literally anything and have very competitive pricing.”

“I've been coming the Black Bird since the early 80's. It's refreshing to go to a well stocked store with knowledgeable associates on the floor. The guys in the screen department are amazing. If your screens are torn or bent, drop em off and they will be repaired and ready in a couple days for a fair price. I am so surprised that people left these 1 star reviews mostly over things that were not really their fault. Yes prices are higher now, supply and demand does apply sometimes, and products are shipped with things missing. Leaving a review like that can be damaging, and unwarranted in a lot of cases. I would rather pay a little more and get a quality product at a locally owned store than shop at a mega store or online for a product. Way to go Black Bird for providing the community for nearly 60 years! PS. My dad used to buy me a hot dog from the guy out front every time we went in! I'm hoping that still continues today, great memories.”

“I have done business with these guys for over 2 decades. I can call and get what I need for my jobs right now, or within a day or two if special order. Sometimes I can pick up from the wholesaler same day needs. They have a great staff and excellent bookkeeper (BECKY) we are more like family now after all these years. Keith (front counter) and I went to Hoover School as kids over 40 years ago!! The yard can be VERY congested with deliveries and forklifts and contractors picking up all their supplies. I wouldn't change a thing. AWESOME people and GREAT prices...BUT most of all the OWNER DENNIS has a heart of GOLD and they give so much to the community year after year. I have been on the receiving end of their donations as a volunteer installing the things they donated in the community (Eagle Point Football stadium, Ethan Jostad baseball field) excellent people.”

“I walked in with my 15yr old broken welder. The two extremely helpful and nice guys at the counter immediately, walked around the counter and in front of me, put my welder on a cart and tore it down and replaced the broken/ clogged inner tube that my wire stopped feeding threw. They put it all back together, i was in and out of there in about 15-20 minutes. total cost of parts $36.00, labor $0. Very impressive service!”
