Booked a stay for 2 nights. When we got there, I looked through the windows into the pool and I’m not exaggerating when I say it looks like an actual horror movie set. I walked around the back towards the beach, there was an emergency exit glass door that I saw cockroaches crawling INSIDE the glass door. I have video. At this point I told my husband I didn’t want to stay there mostly because we have children and so we went somewhere else. But Shilo Inn REFUSED to refund our money. Hundreds of dollars they stole from my family. We have fought it and they will not relent.I hope this establishment gets shut down because this place is atrocious. And on top of it, they’re thieves. ????????Noteworthy details: Cockroach’s inside and the pool area looked like a horror movie set.

My husband, 8 day old baby and 2 year old tried to stay here 2-24-24 through 2-25-24.. we ended up checking out a little after 10 pm 2-24-24.. the staff was nice but the cleanliness, toilet trees and overall room amenities were not.. not sure what was going on. But the bathtub was dirty, there were some kind of dark hair's on the bath room floor and behind the bath room door.. (I have an idea) grossed out.. the coffee cups were dirty and previously used but still left by the coffee pot.. no coffee, microwave wasn't clean, there was little toilet paper left and no refill for that in the room, no toilet tree's.. shampoo, conditioner, bar of soap, body wash we had to go down to the front desk and ask for all of that. The mirrors were dirty, we actually went to Walgreens and bought some lysol wipes to wipe counters and other things down cause they were dirty.. carpet could have used a vacuum also. I used to work there in housekeeping 15 plus years ago and could not leave a room in that condition, wouldn't want to leave it in that condition.. in the future my husband family and I will not be staying at the warrenton shilo inn again.. that whole place needs a good sanitizing scrub down. Was not comfortable staying in that atmosphere with our kids, let alone ourselves. The front desk apologized for the inconveniences and said we werent the only customers that she had heard that from and seemed frustrated about it herself, she said we could possibly get a partial refund, I sure hope so. With the prices they charge I'd at least expect toilet amenities to be stocked and a clean bath room with no pubes or hairs on the floor.Pretty grossed out...

This establishment does not support veterans. I was quoted for a room with a military discount. Once I was ready to book. I was told by the manager that they will not honor the military discount due to the holidays. I do not understand how you can support veterans but when the time comes you take it away just so you can make an extra $40 for a room. Very hypercritical.

January one night during Oregon's ice storm and we stayed here because the roads were becoming slick. Beds were great, most of the pillows were cushioned enough. Our two small dogs were fine, decent dog walk area with actual grass and poop bag dispenser+trash on site (no searching for a place to throw away the poop bag was nice). The room was a bit more spacious, which was nice to allow my spouse to work remotely in the morning from the corner of the room without having beds in the Zoom background. The bathroom sink is outside the shower/toilet room right next to the entry - which I liked. The shower/tub water pressure was great but it squeaked loudly as you moved during a shower. I used my own toiletries as the provided ones were tiny.Microwave was the worst part of the room; took a while to heat up and wasn't properly balanced. Bar sink was useful. No tea provided in room, just an older coffee maker. In room fridge a bit too cold as it froze some of our food the closer to the mini freezer - but at least it had a mini freezer!Floor carpeting had what appeared to be ironing marks - looked like someone decided to iron on the floor even though there's an in room ironing boardTV is regular cable, no streaming service.Friendly front desk staff, we were able to get a late check out to allow for it to be warm enough to have melted much of the ice on the road.Luggage cart available. We were on the 3rd floor. Herd of elk grazing in the late morning to the west was cool.

The staff was friendly and professional. They get 5 stars. Rooms were ok. What I was very dissapointed in was the pool and jacuzzi wasn't working. The lounge couch could use updating. Had holes in it. Worst Shilo we ever been in. Made me sad. Seems like this was once a great place let go.

They openly advertise things like an indoor pool, steam room, and a hot tub along with complementary breakfast. They had none of that, I had over paid for a motel six. They charged me an extra fifty dollar fee just cause they can. The lady even profiled us and said a smoking violation would make sense. She assumed we would smoke in the room! They informed us they had been lacking staff and wouldn't be offering room service when we checked in. The floor was decorated with multi colored stains and a strip of duct tape to hold the carpet down. Building had an old smell. Very Dangerous sharp blind Corner pulling into the parking lot. We had no silverware, we went to the front office for bowls ,and all they gave us was two red solo cups for our soup. I was stuck here for three boring nights. I had packed swimsuits for us and we just wasted space and got our hopes up. Going to the coast the mandatory utilities are an indoor pool and complementary breakfast. I knew this was a rough start for our trip. It was disappointing and had to make the most out of it. I will avoid any Shilo inns after this experience I feel like I got scammed. They're falsely advertising amenities that they have had shut down since Covid. It's been three years since. Only one guy was working on the pool room I hardly seen him do anything the one day he was working. The pool was half full of stagnant water. The "fitness room" was just a broken treadmill. It was 530$ to stay here for three nights with no services or any amenities. It was boring and disappointing. The bed was comfortable, the couch smelt like urine. They was brown stains inside the toilet where they didn't scrub and the whole place was really empty. It felt like I was helping them more then they had helped me. I entirely regret picking Shilo at warrenton. We almost got t boned from a car doing 60mph trying to leave the parking lot and a day later there was a wreck on that road. I'd sum this hotel up with these words Over priced False advertisement And Dirty This hotel didn't ruin my trip but it played a huge role in making my vacation miserable. The pool really bothers me, they need to advertise that it's out of order. I know it's my fault for not calling and usually we do just to check but I was too excited to book and the website had over glorified this place. Also Covid was three years ago they need to not use that as an excuse for the complementary breakfast. The restaurant that had been advertised in Expedia was out of business so we walked to natural grocers for microwaveable food and snacks. They're lacking money and business (for a good reason) I dont enjoy complaining but this was a terrible hotel I wouldn't be surprised if this place went out of business this year. Things I did enjoy was the wetlands view, was nice .I appreciate the grey gloomy weather (not sarcasm) I was happy about that, and that's pretty much it for positive things to say.

Room had a funky smell. Carpet, walls, and counters were dirty. Looks as though this place has not been updated in 20 years. No breakfast and the only coffee available was in room. I was in town for work and chose this hotel due to the close proximity to the job I was here for and the fact that they advised free breakfast. When I asked the staff why they do not offer breakfast ( the website says they do )I got the COVID excuse. I travel approximately 1,000 miles a week for work and stay overnight quite often. This was my first and last stay at a Shilo Inn.

Much better price than the big chain hotels. 20% off for military members and veterans. Clean rooms with all the amenities you need. Pool, sauna and exercise room available. Sad that they have dropped their breakfast.

Wow. The fact that there are any positive reviews on here is suspicious. When you walk into this hotel, you walk into 1992. Not a single update since then. Our room reeked of cigarettes. The bed was cheap. So many repairs needed. This hotel should not be allowed to be up and running in this condition. We needed more pillows, and couldn’t find a single soul in the lobby. I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that this hotel cost over $300 a night. You couldn’t pay me to stay here ever again. I’d rather sleep in my car!

This hotel should be leveled! It was not safe or healthy to be staying here! Let's start with worrying about my children getting tetanus from the pool area - rust and mold all over the place (reference pics below)! The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were friendly and I feel bad for them having to work on these conditions when corporate clearly doesn't give a care. The hotel was in shambles: peeling paint, wallpaper, mold and mildew in our shower curtain. Cobwebs and bugs in all the window sills, bugs in our shower, bushes from outside growing into the emergency exits. It felt like we entered a post-apocalyptic Jumanji world from which there was no escape (for two days anyway). We were in town for a soccer tournament and if we had ANYWHERE else to go that wasn't booked, we would have. People in our group checked out or left upon arrival because of broken pullout couches and mold in toilets and suspiciously wet furniture. I'm not entirely convinced that this wasn't a scam run in an abandoned hotel. Where the heck is Shiloh Inn corporate management!? Have you set foot in the building since it was built? We paid $630 for a two night stay in HELL. Enough said.

Please do NOT stay here. It is not worth your health and safety. The rooms are filthy, no smoke alarms, mold in the bathroom, and smells like someone who has been working with fish. DISGUSTING!

I didn't stay there due to their price gouging nature. $360 a night, plus 25 for a pet. Plus taxes and other stuff I'm sure. It's not a holiday. The building looks run down. It's a 2 star hotel after all. Honestly I called because I thought it would be 50 bucks and I'd just have to deal with some bed bugs. I'm sorry they answered my call on the 3rd time finally. Wasted 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Difficult check in, room floor looks like a murder scene. Bed had a fitted sheet to lay under not to mention the nice hair balls left in it for added horror. Pealing paint in the bathroom.Gross doesn’t begin to describe this place. $250+ a night for what equates to a dumpster.

If i could give just a half star i would. Rooms smell like goodwill and cigarettes mixed with people's pets. No continental breakfast and pool looks slimy ! Plus no view of anything but a Walgreens and a grassy field. Only if no where to stay stay here !
