Room was clean, staff was very nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay especially the free breakfast at the newly renovated Restaurant East Coast Eats.

Well, in this hotel where I stayed with my family, I didn't like the attention of the manager since on pool day she got upset because of the kids. It was being very relaxed and another thing, a lot of unity in the rooms, it would be better to improve. That's good, this is for me, I don't know what other people are like, and another thing made the hotel better. Last year it was in one of the same hotels we stayed at. Last week was better. Last year they paid attention and did not come to complain because of the relaxation that the children were doing. I hope and it improves. In that part

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I stayed for one night, and when I was ready to climb into bed around 10:30pm -11:00pm, after putting my 7 month old son to bed I discovered that my bed reeked of cat urine. The front desk switched me to a room, that was extremely musty, and damp. The morning of check out, I talked with the front desk supervisor for compensation, she offered me 35% after discussing with her manager after I left. 35%? I had to pack all of my stuff. Wake my son up, and move rooms in the middle of the night, to a room that was just as smelly.
I would expect at least 50% off or even full compensation. How disgusting to lay your head in a cat urine bed, and then move rooms to a musty, damp room. I understand this isn't a five star hotel. but just wow.

Everything is out of service, the pool is cold, steam rooms, hot tub, exercise machines all out of service. Looks like Travel Lodge but with price of luxury hotel

I had a very bad experience on my visit here. I was on a trip with my daughter to seaside and wanted a place to stay instead of making the 3 plus hour drive back home. All hotels in sea side area were booked out due to it being the holiday weekend so the closest one I found on the way out was shilo inn with a pool as my daughter wanted to go somewhere to swim.
They had alot of rooms available so I got one at a decent price and that was the start of my headache of an experience at this shilo inns. First, it was very run down looking though I decided to give it a chance because ive been surprised with some other hotels that looked a little bit run down but they did a good job maintaining the inside of the building (rooms, lobbies, pools, other amenities, etc). The inside was consistent with the outside in regards to the appearance of it being old and not well kept. We got to our room and immediately got ready to go to the pool to swim alittle before it closed for the night and that was an awful sight when we got to the pool.
The pool looked like it had dirt and rust in and around it. The hot tub was closed down with a chicken wire fence around it and the hot tub was making a weird loud gurgling nosie. The entire ceiling was damaged/rusted and looked very disgusting. The exit door looked like it was rusted shut, the whole thing looked very disturbing and I was not going to allow my daughter to swim in that filthy pool. It didnt look safe.
Their weight equipment was very rusty which should not be okay at all to have out for their guest to use. That was a tetanus shot wanting to happen. See photos. Very unacceptable. I suggest throwing that equipment away and getting new weight equipment and then investing in a dehumidifier to control the humidity so the equipment wont rust.
Now for the room, it was layed out well with enough space and had a mini fridge and small microwave included in the room. Walking around the room is where I started to become irritated finding stains on the walls, stains on the bed/mattress and sheets, cracks along the walls and hairs on the bed. I did not feel comfortable sleeping on that bed and I was very dissatisfied with the room and the condition of the amenities that the hotel had to offer. I choose to not stay and went down to the front lobby to voice my concerns and turned my room key cards in and requested a refund. I initially got the run around with being told since its been 1 hour since the room has been checked out to me that I may not be able to receive a full refund which was very frustrating to hear since I actually only was physically in the room for about 20 minutes max. I was told I would find out the following day what amount I would be refunded if any at all depending on the decision of the general manager.
The following morning I called the hotel and spoke with the front desk manager Allison about my issues and reason for requesting a refund. She was pleasant to work with and made the calls she needed to with the information I gave her to get approval for a refund. She called me around an hour after we first spoke to inform that I would be recieving a full refund and apologized for the experience I had there. She provided good customer service and thats the only reason I gave 2 stars for service otherwise I would give 1 star for everything.
Respectfully, I would not recommend this hotel until they address the quality and cleanliness of their building. If you are needing a place to stay and choose this hotel then just go in knowing what to expect. It does not surprise me that this place had a lot of available rooms on such a busy holiday weekend ( Memorial Day Weekend) as every other hotel I attempted to get a room at was all sold out.

Rooms were more than spacious in comparison to other hotels we've been to
Not the most updated but they were clean! Easy check in and the hotel was pretty quiet too.
The black out curtains could use replacing. The blackout lining was peeling off in areas so it let little beams of light through the curtains while it was still light out and my kids had to go to bed.

This was the most worse experience on our trips history.
Sometime as a business trip I had to stay at motel 6. But this particular shilo location is literally the most bad hotel I’ve ever been.
The odor of the room was like a dead fish, the under bedding smells like sweat, nothing works at the premises, as gym, hot tub, sauna, vending machines, the coffee maker broken hairs in it also inside the microwave, gross and not restaurant as says on the hotel page. Definitely the information on their web it’s inaccurate

Booked a stay for 2 nights. When we got there, I looked through the windows into the pool and I’m not exaggerating when I say it looks like an actual horror movie set. I walked around the back towards the beach, there was an emergency exit glass door that I saw cockroaches crawling INSIDE the glass door. I have video. At this point I told my husband I didn’t want to stay there mostly because we have children and so we went somewhere else. But Shilo Inn REFUSED to refund our money. Hundreds of dollars they stole from my family. We have fought it and they will not relent.I hope this establishment gets shut down because this place is atrocious. And on top of it, they’re thieves. ????????Noteworthy details: Cockroach’s inside and the pool area looked like a horror movie set.

My husband, 8 day old baby and 2 year old tried to stay here 2-24-24 through 2-25-24.. we ended up checking out a little after 10 pm 2-24-24.. the staff was nice but the cleanliness, toilet trees and overall room amenities were not.. not sure what was going on. But the bathtub was dirty, there were some kind of dark hair's on the bath room floor and behind the bath room door.. (I have an idea) grossed out.. the coffee cups were dirty and previously used but still left by the coffee pot.. no coffee, microwave wasn't clean, there was little toilet paper left and no refill for that in the room, no toilet tree's.. shampoo, conditioner, bar of soap, body wash we had to go down to the front desk and ask for all of that. The mirrors were dirty, we actually went to Walgreens and bought some lysol wipes to wipe counters and other things down cause they were dirty.. carpet could have used a vacuum also. I used to work there in housekeeping 15 plus years ago and could not leave a room in that condition, wouldn't want to leave it in that condition.. in the future my husband family and I will not be staying at the warrenton shilo inn again.. that whole place needs a good sanitizing scrub down. Was not comfortable staying in that atmosphere with our kids, let alone ourselves. The front desk apologized for the inconveniences and said we werent the only customers that she had heard that from and seemed frustrated about it herself, she said we could possibly get a partial refund, I sure hope so. With the prices they charge I'd at least expect toilet amenities to be stocked and a clean bath room with no pubes or hairs on the floor.Pretty grossed out...

This establishment does not support veterans. I was quoted for a room with a military discount. Once I was ready to book. I was told by the manager that they will not honor the military discount due to the holidays. I do not understand how you can support veterans but when the time comes you take it away just so you can make an extra $40 for a room. Very hypercritical.

January one night during Oregon's ice storm and we stayed here because the roads were becoming slick. Beds were great, most of the pillows were cushioned enough. Our two small dogs were fine, decent dog walk area with actual grass and poop bag dispenser+trash on site (no searching for a place to throw away the poop bag was nice). The room was a bit more spacious, which was nice to allow my spouse to work remotely in the morning from the corner of the room without having beds in the Zoom background. The bathroom sink is outside the shower/toilet room right next to the entry - which I liked. The shower/tub water pressure was great but it squeaked loudly as you moved during a shower. I used my own toiletries as the provided ones were tiny.Microwave was the worst part of the room; took a while to heat up and wasn't properly balanced. Bar sink was useful. No tea provided in room, just an older coffee maker. In room fridge a bit too cold as it froze some of our food the closer to the mini freezer - but at least it had a mini freezer!Floor carpeting had what appeared to be ironing marks - looked like someone decided to iron on the floor even though there's an in room ironing boardTV is regular cable, no streaming service.Friendly front desk staff, we were able to get a late check out to allow for it to be warm enough to have melted much of the ice on the road.Luggage cart available. We were on the 3rd floor. Herd of elk grazing in the late morning to the west was cool.
