If you actually need your medication filled in a timely matter, this is not the place for you. It’s taken almost a week to get my medication filled but finally I get a call that it is ready to pick up so I go to pick it up and they tell me it is not ready. I’ve tried to transfer pharmacies, but they refuse to send my prescription to anyone else. So I guess I’m stuck. The pharmacist/pharmacy techs I have dealt with are rude and uncaring and treat me like an inconvenience and this has gone on for years. If you’re going to be in a position like this, then you really should be more caring about people in general.

The pharmacy use to be great .but now there is a clerk that is highly rude .and u call to see if your prescription is ready that I called in 2 weaks ago.the lady says what can I do for u .then bam nothing slammed on hold and is rude when she comes back on.very poor manners .prescriptions don't get filled for 2 weaks .it has gone down hill.

Friendliest Rite Aid I've ever been to. HUGE store. HUGE clearance section. Look for non-advertised sales cuz that's where you'll save extra money. Employees are really thorough and know their stuff, in case you need any help.

They have been down to a single pharmacist for a long time. Therefore, their hours are unpredictable. They don't have a pharmacist on weekends and close everyday midday for lunch. They are often out of drugs so there is a long wait time to get the drugs or they have to do a partial fill. At least once, when we picked up the rest of our partial fill, the quantity was off.

Not that it matters since Rite Aid is filing for bankruptcy and closing down, but felt like writing a review while standing in line for 30 minutes.They only ever have one person at the counter and you have to stand in line for ages. Then most of the time they don't have my scripts ready anyway, and they say it'll take hours to fill.One time they changed the dosage of my med (I used to take 3 at a low dosage and they switched to 1 high dose) without telling me and I nearly overdosed. Not fun.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Honestly the start of the call was great with the pharmacist but after being put on hold a woman got on the phone. Not only was she disrespectful and rude she started yelling at me when I asked a simple question to get clarity on a situation. Zero outta ten WOULD NOT RECOMMEND and I’ll definitely never return.

Don't ever try calling the pharmacy to confirm they recieved your prescription or that it is ready. They will never answer the phone.

Pharmacists are rude and if you or your doctor need to get ahold of them don’t expect them to answer the phone, a whole day and multiple hours today my doctors office could not get them to answer the phone to give them the ok they “needed” to fill my medication. Edit: finally after an entire day and 3+ hours the doctor finally got ahold of the pharmacist with the ok to fill my medication but the pharmacist refused to fill it so now I have to wait til Monday when I can switch pharmacies. This is awful I just had surgery and need that medication & after what happened to me and seeing all the other reviews, that pharmacy needs to be shut down or that pharmacist needs fired.

This rite Aide pharmacy / store needs some serious attention. Not only can you never reach anybody in the pharmacy, by phone now the automated service is not resulting in accurate order placement either. If you take the time to be organized and call or put the order in the day before and then get there and they say it was never placed You are really wasting people's time and effort. I hope you get some desperately needed staff and IT help and restructure your hours.

Was not aloud to use the restroom due to being clean 30minutes prior to closing this is terrible customer service. Why offer a restroom and then tell customers they are not allowed to use it because "I just cleaned it and locked it so I'm not letting you in"

We experienced a racist incident at the Walgreens down the street, when the pharmacist there closed for lunch as a means of refusing service to us.Ride Aid also closed for lunch, but every person in the building was kind, helpful, sincere and professional. The pharmacist helping us went out of her way to field urgent calls and faxes from an end-of-business-hours Detroit pharmacy in order to fill the script for insulin with the sense of urgency it demanded.Although the wait was long, it was simply busy, and this resulted in me witnessing several further customer service moments that really showed that there is a good team at this store who is actively trying to help customers.Thanks.

Response to your Response….evidently you did not read my whole review, if you look at end of it, I already did what you asked me to do. NOW ACT, instead of passing the buck!!!!Same 1 Star for Customer Service from Manager during Bottle Return…(Bottles and Cans most of which I have purchased at THIS EXACT Rite Aid). Rudely treated, no one else in store but Manager, one other employee, and me, right after store opened at 8:00 am. I have seen same complaint from a year ago, and nothing seems to have changed with her, and this is not the first time I have been treated this way by her (I am a local). Plenty of other places to shop in area…Fred Meyer, Safeway, Walgreens, Walmart, etc., so one more instance, done with this particular Rite Aid. And do not reply telling me sorry to hear and contact Rite Aid directly on internet….Already have!

I have a lot to say but it looks like most of the one star reviews are my exact issue as well. If you are on a medication you rely on DO NOT trust this pharmacy to respect that, hours are always changing and refill times can take days when their phone message says it’s ready the next day. Either close the store or get it together, people have been reporting the same issue for MONTHS and there is nothing to show that something is being done. I’m not blaming staff because I have always had great customer service experiences but this is the worst pharmacy in the county to have medications filled.

Went to pick up kids' prescriptions for strep just before they closed after sitting in near empty urgent care for hours, prescripts were sent in over 2 hours prior, lady looked at us standing in line and said sorry "we close at 6", knowing that we've been standing in a line for awhile..when asked if she could see if our scripts were even ready she asked for the name and when given the name she replied "nope, not ready" without ever checking anything...great cust service! Way to leave your customers hanging!
