Poor service the big gentleman behind the counter is rude. When asked why consistently packages where stated delivered when not “ it happens to me weekly” got a snide answer.
Likely it is to make there numbers look good showing a good delivery rate, fudging the numbers today 4 packages out for delivery but one I arrived. Very typical for them. One package shows has been delivered 2 times but still not here

The WORST and here is why...
USPS actually thinks that the customers who pay for their "service" don't actually want to pick up their anticipated packages. That we prefer USPS hold our packages hostage until the Postmaster forces here employees to put STICKY NOTES on our package claim slips that read "PICK UP A.S.A.P"
Customers do want their packages. They know what they ordered and when it arrived at your facility. The customers, most of whom are are NOT retired or have "open" schedules and do work 9-5 Jobs.
Today, I check my post box with the intention of collecting packages that must be collected at the customer service counter. On my redemption slip was a STICKY note telling me to "pick up A.S.A.P!" When I asked the clerk why the sticky was there. His response was "everyone got this note in your section." Then the post master jumped and complained that they handle each "package" five times!... Postmaster-if you don't like your JOB, go get ANOTHER JOB! Also, don't harass the customers with your inappropriate sticky notes. Try doing your JOB, adjust the business hours so that EVERYONE can PICK UP their PACKAGES!! Don't ASSUME we want our packages at your facility longer than necessary!
The BUSINESS HOURS suck. The POST OFFICE Hours are 9am-4:45pm. It looks like USPS doesn't want to help anyone or give us our packages.

I have had 3 packages posted as delivered but this Post Office can’t find them and did not put anything in my POBox! One package was returned to sender and ended up in Seattle where it has been for 2 weeks! All packages had the correct address! I even had them put a note on my mail slot that I had a PO Box but that has not helped! So frustrated

Tall man at the front desk with what looks to be a fan around his neck all the time is extremely extremely rude… my package said it was delivered yesterday so I went to go get it and he said it was probably in the load that just got delivered and isn’t ready for pick up. I asked how long that could take and very rudely snapped back with “Until we’re done.” Customer service is horrible. And I can see I’m not the only one in the reviews that had a problem with him. Get off your high horse or get another job.

Big tall guy up front has a horrible attitude and isn’t helpful and interrupts when you’re trying to explain your problem. I had no attitude and just needed info and he got snappy cuz I don’t work at the post office and know how things operate. I was new to this post office and so was the woman in front of me and he treated her bad as well.

We have been using this facility since 1975 and today we had the worst experience with any post office employee we have ever had to work with. I made the mistake of ordering a package and giving my home address only to find out that the place I ordered through delivers through the USPS. We do not receive mail at our home address. I immediately went to your facility to explain what had happened. Your employee told me that I should follow the tracking number and come in before 4:00 on the day that the package arrived. He also told me to take a picture of a notice (pink paper) that was posted on the wall which explains procedures for this experience. I did so. Today we received notice that the package arrived at your facility at around 8 AM, so my husband went to Post Office to retrieve the package. Shortly after that we received another notice at about 10 AM stating that the package was being returned to the sender. My husband sped off to your Post Office to retrieve the package and was given a lecture by the same postal worker about how to give a PO Box when ordering online. We had already been given that information by your employee. He told my husband to come back again later to get the package. To say the least, your employee was very RUDE.We are customers at your mercy, doing what we have been instructed. I talked to another young man yesterday who was very polite and helpful. He took my information and said that he would pass it on to the person who takes on these package problems. Trying to hold on to the idea that "one bad apple, etc.....". We love the young blonde woman, the lady with the short dark hair and the tall young man with glasses. They go above and beyond what this Post Office ignorant customer asks. Still not sure if we will receive the package.

Heavy set gentleman with tatoos…..not sure if he is trying to be funny or rude to customers. I hope the latter is not the case, otherwise he needs to find something else to do.

First, stop delivering other peoples mail to my address. I frequently have to walk down the street and delivery letters to other mail boxes, in other words do you job.Second, there really seems to be no logic to delivering mail. If they run out of time in the day, they just don't deliver your mail and you can just wait. This may be a coastal town, but we are not living in a Third World Country, Do your job, or find another, and let someone step up who cares!

They’re recently enforcing rules where they will not give you your package, even if they have it, and will return to sender. They want your PO Box #, not just your physical address. This has never been an issue in over 5 years until now.Last week I was in a line of almost two dozen people, most of which had the same problem; where’s my package- why did you return it to sender?

Once again a bad experience at the Waldport post office. This must one of the most poorly run post offices in the U.S. Absolutely abominable service. If you can call it service. I just stood in line for half an hour to pick up a package on a Saturday morning, my only opportunity because I work during the limited hours of this PO, just to have the half door shut in my face by an immature boy-man who is paid to be there but said it is noon, no more pick-ups. Unbelievable! Whoever manages this PO should work more staff on Saturdays, especially during December, since pick-up time is limited to just an hour and a half. Ridiculous. There were 12 to 15 people in line when I arrived. Only half of them were served in the half hour I was there. Boy-man was not only slow but insulting as well. He didn't care that I can't get my package on Monday due to limited PO hours. I got back home at 12:04, meaning he could have given me my package because I'm sure it took me longer than 4 minutes to get home. So he shut the door in my face before noon. Inefficient, slower than molasses in January at the north pole, uncaring, rude. Employees here lucked out to get their jobs because they could never be employed in the real world. Once again an extremely poor but unfortunately real example of our tax dollars wasted rather than working for us. Watch out for karma boy-man, and the rest of the Waldport PO staff. :(

These guys send your mail back instead if of holding it. I was told on Saturday that I had two packages and to come back on Monday to pick them up. By Monday, they didn't have them because they sent them back. Only low life's would treat their customers like that! They are just a bunch of liars and probably should all be fired and get some honest people in there. Now they have a sign that they do not accept FedEx or UPS. They are just too lazy to go out of their way for anyone.

This post office used to be quite good, but that was years ago. USPS closed a nearby post office in Seal Rock and shifted the workload to Waldport. Since then we've had nothing but problems. Long lines, returned items, inaccurate tracking, and so forth.
