I wanted to speak to a live agent. The virtual agent couldn’t understand anything not even when I pressed the number. It’s very frustrating and irritating! Please just have a live person answer the phone!!!!

i dont know how to measure the performance of the staff. but as for the phone system i must say it leaves alot to be desired all i wanted to know is how much it takes to mail and light weight letter less then an once. and how much is my freedom stamp worth. there is no way to find these questions out on the phone if i had mobility i would go to the post office if i stay on the phone it would take an hour for someone to reply so sad.

Update: on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at about 6:30 PM. A hobo was in the lobby stealing USPS cardboard boxes. Don’t know if he was trying to break into the lockers like last time. If you are a woman, do not go to the post office alone at night as it could be dangerous… old review: This is an awesome post office. Can’t understand all the negative reviews, the staff are polite, service is excellent, and they’ve only lost one package in 10 years! Way better than UPS which smashes your packages. Having been a government employee myself, I know how hard it is to keep a positive attitude, especially when the public is always criticizing you. Don’t believe all the haters. The folks at VENETA post office do a wonderful job.

Our Local Post Office in Veneta is great. We appreciate them immensely. Working with the public is difficult yet they show patience. Don and Ashley are very pleasant to work with. God Bless all the Staff. We’re grateful for them. ?

Holly Huddleston is a patient, caring and understanding mail carrier with an incredible work ethic. Her smile is contagious and she’s easy to talk to. She seems to love her job and clearly loves her route. She deserves a raise and to be appreciated for her idyllic representation of USPS.

I've ordered a expensive package from Amazon and their tracking says it exchanged hands with Veneta Postal service and all of a sudden no their is a delivery issue. I tried calling but, all I get is a poor automated computer giving me nothing to solve this delivery issue or talk to a live person. Once my package gets her it either gets stolen or lost. Very frustrating!

I had to come on here and just say a few kind words about mail carrier Holly Huddleston. She is always really friendly and personable when I run into her delivering mail and parcels and she’s great about following specific requests that I leave in my mailbox. It’s a nice feeling to know that my mail is in trustworthy and reliable hands. I can’t imagine it is the easiest of jobs these days with the huge increase of online shopping but despite that, I always get the vibe that she really enjoys what she does.
