I've taken my cars to this shop a few times now. Every visit, whether for routine maintenance or more complex issues, feels like a VIP experience. The team at Pape goes above and beyond to keep me informed and provide honest, reliable service. Their exceptional communication and innovative use of technology sets them apart in the industry. Plus, I love supporting a locally owned shop! Warm, welcoming, and trustworthy—everything you could ask for in a mechanic!

Told $100 to look & give estimate (most shops don't charge for estimates). I'd been there before but because it had been so long ago there would be a $100 inspection charge. The work they did last time was okay, except for the switch which they mounted on my dash using double sided tape (normally you BOLT a switch to the dash). Also the mechanic who worked on it forgot to tighten the battery clamp, so I was stranded at work late one night. Luckily the tow truck driver was smart and fixed it for me. Thought about going back and complaining at the time but was afraid that if I went back, the mechanic who did the work on my car would “get even” with me, by sabotaging my vehicle. (Don’t laugh, this sometimes happens). So because of this fear, didn’t complain in person. Also, in my experience, most shops will defend their mechanics to the death, instead of listening to customers. I’ve seen customers permanently banned from shops because the owner didn’t like hearing complaints. Suggestion: Jesy should get rid of his service advisor and go back to the front desk. Also, work order receipts should be tagged with the name of the tech who worked on the vehicle. That way if there’s any problems, you will know which employee you need to talk to and/or counsel. As Ronald Reagan once said, “trust, but verify.” Now for The Good: courtesy shuttle gave me a ride home. The Bad: driver complained the whole time how he hated driving customers home. Note: switch repair problem wasn’t noticed immediately because I didn’t find out until the summer about the switch being taped on; you couldn’t tell by looking at it, and it wasn’t until we got warm weather that the backing tape peeled off. Same with the battery clamp: didn’t cause problems until weeks later. My best friend is a mechanic, when I asked him about these issues, his comment was, “It looks like those tech guys need better supervision from their boss”. The kind of service that most customers desire is reflected in the work of Car Wizard and Scotty Kilmer. Watch these two YouTube shows and you’ll get an idea of what most customers would like to receive in the way of service, diagnosis and repairs. And above all, listen to customers, don’t deflect or deny criticism, supervise your techs closely, and don’t be afraid to apologize when you make mistakes. All those ASE certifications on the wall mean nothing. It’s your attitude and your treatment of customers that makes all the difference. This is being spoken by a man who was a supervisor for over 30 years and had to deal with many employees and many situations. Thank you for listening.

The Pape team are always professional and very thorough. I love that they send photos and explanations on the status of my vehicle, including work needs that are upcoming. My car is a BMW 7 Series and requires specialized treatment. These guys can do just about everything there is. Pricing is comparable, but most importantly they are honest and reliable.

Pape Auto was a great experience. I unfortunately had a serious problem with my daughter’s car and had to get it towed there. Their itemized inspection results with pictures was really helpful to verify their findings and helped me with making the plan for other items to repair or replace in the future. They were very thorough and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be going back.

Amazing service. The place was clean, organized, Work was fast and efficient. They even called me a week later to ask if I was satisfied with the work. Who does that anymore? They are a 5 star business, I'd recommend them to anyone who needs car repair.

My truck had not been running right for over a year. Pape's certified GMC mechanic tested and found the issue, play in the distributor shaft. She's running perfectly at 25 years old! Thank you!
