“1st time there. I was looking around, and a lady behind the register asked what I was looking for . She was so nice and directed me to what I wanted. Will be going back there often. Great small family run place feel to it.”
“I've been shopping here for spices for just about 1 year. To date I have yet to have a bad or negative experience with the staff and or the spices they're selling. I grew up with my mom making dishes from all over the world and in my own culinary experience Mingala has not only what I want and need, the freshness and very reasonable prices of there spices is amazing.”
“All I can say is I wish every town had a place like this and owners as dedicated to the quality. Like Matt's Meats in Longview WA, an amazing butcher and custom meats spot. The deli had an amazing Reuben, the jerky is so good I bought 2lbs while in the PNW and another 2lbs to take back to Texas. Also tried a ribeye, top quality. Anywhere near Canby, make the trip and check it out!”
“Amazing food, I really like the perfect thickness of their corn tortillas. Perfect chicken, great beef. Have not had pork yet but I am sure it deserves 5 stars like everything else.Mucho gracias seniors and Signoras for your wonderful service.”

I am in heaven when purchasing stuff here on my infrequent visits to my homeland. I believe you have to spend $150 minimum and pick up door front. One word is that their stuff is good. Way good. And delicious and a value no matter what it costs. For 'Foodies in PDX', for sure.....”
“Always went to don asados next door but never noticed this place was also a grocery store. Very small store and pretty cramped aisles, but weirdly enough adds to the whole vibe of the store. Pretty interesting variety of goods there was everything from meats, salsa, all kinds of snacks and ice cream sauces, breads ready to go to dessert, beers, and a lot of cool drinks. The cashier was very friendly also. I will probably be stopping here every time I go to Don Asados in the future just to explore and also grab some nice treats.”
“The last time I was here was several months ago. It was a Friday night and there were 2 other people in the store. It felt extremely sad. Not in the mocking way the word "sad" seems to be thrown around nowadays, but in the real way of watching someone's dream die.Real people worked here. Real people tried to make this a place that was community forward. This place had the misfortune to serve high quality items at a time when even normal grocery prices were at record levels.Their other stores are doing well and I'm sure I'll visit them and I wish them well. I don't understand some of the hateful reviews people are leaving here. If it's too expensive for you, dont shop here. I don't leave nasty reviews at Kuni BMW because I cant afford one.”

They do have a dietary restriction which only allows them to eat Halal Food due to religious purposes. So I couldn't just go to Winco or any regular grocery store to get these specific halal ingredients. So I came here to find all the ingredients I needed which I did and I learned so much on the internet about what it means to be Halal.Halal is an Arabic word that simply means lawful or permitted, but generally refers to what’s allowed under Islamic law. It’s the opposite of haram, which means prohibited. Some things are very clear-cut halal or haram, however, as with a lot of religious law, other things can be open to interpretation. So I need to buy some meat that's why I couldn't go to any regular grocery store because for meat to be certified halal, it must be slaughtered in a manner known as dhabiha. That means to drain all blood from the carcass. In Islam, the consumption of blood is considered haram/not-allowed. A Muslim must recite a dedication known as tasmiya or shahada during this process. Not all meat can be made halal, regardless of how it was slaughtered. Animals that are always haram/not-allowed to eat include:Pork and its by-products are strictly forbidden,Donkeys, mules, and horses, Fanged animals (cats, dogs, bears, etc),Birds of prey,Reptiles and Some other animals such as monkeys.Overall I would recommend coming here if you are like me cooking for someone who has a restriction on food of the religious purpose, or you yourself are in the religion and just want to come and find some Halal Ingredients.”
“Arrived late because of the shipper loaded me a day and a half late. My original appointment time was 1000 but didn’t arrive until 1115. My company called ahead of time and was told show up by 1400. The guy came right out to my truck and told me where to park. He said the guy docked had just backed in and then they were going to lunch. I had no problem with that since the shipper messed up this delivery for me. After the guy that was docked left, the guy came up to me and told me to back into door 3. About an hour later I was unloaded and bills in hand. I talked with a driver from this company who was also nice and he gave me directions to I-5 North. I would deliver here again even though it’s in the middle of nowhere. What a great bunch of guys!!”

My appointment was at 8:00am I arrived at 7 am in door at 8 am. I was unloading, lumper fee paid and given paperwork all in 2 hours. Thank you Sysco for the great experience. (Refer unit delivery)”
“I LOVE Sheridan. My 3 stars is not probably their fault. Prices have increased so much that it's difficult for me to shop there anymore. With that said prices have increased and quality has dropped (produce and meat). You won't find everything here but it's awesome. You will need to keep up with the prices and the lack of items that used to be available.”
