They provide a much-needed service in this time of vet and vet tech scarcity, and a serious shortage of canine influenza vaccine. You do have to get there way early . And right now they seem to have the CIV. Our vet, and most of the little ones, cant seem to get any

Our visit began with me getting the hours mixed up, so we showed up 2.5 hours early to Creature Comforts. Chalk this up to my fantastic memory. The weather was horrid. Windy, wet, and very chilly. The line was short, and the wait- well, the wait is expected and worth our braving Portland's December weather for the boys Chuck and Sam. The Good Neighbor Vet van arrived, and the staff hustled to organize by getting got down to business quickly. A personable young woman who collected our registration sheet is a focused, active listener who made direct eye contact, which helped establish our trust. Out cats, Chuck and Sam (affectionately known to us as the Payaso Twins), were collected for their exam/vaccination, and the process was quick. The vet team comprised of all women is impressive for their collective can-do effort and professional demeanor. We left satisfied and comfortable that our boys were now vaccinated. The fees are very reasonable. The handling of our boys was thoughtful, and the team's time management focus is admirable. We also have to thank Milwaukie's Creature Comforts for hosting the event. All in all, our visit was a resounding success, thanks to the Good Neighbor Vet program.

Came our final and last time; same intake vet tech who got all mixed up. Trying to send my boyfriend away after he's been waiting before they open TWO HOURS beforehand. Saying that he doesn't need his boosters because he's been ontime to all his previous vaccinations & that we didn't need to come back. Even though we PREPAID for his Lepto? Why wouldn't you have told us that when I'd given you my money the initial visit or the 2 times prior to our 3rd attempt to a mobile clinic. Second off, thats a lie. Just because you've had timely visits does not indicate if you need or do not need boosters. Only a titer would tell you that. Then she starts running off some rubbish about how she needed me to come back to show proof of my vaccinations to make sure the paperwork is valid? What? I had and currently have hard copies and electronic copies of my dog's paperwork with me at all times; I showed proof of it at the initial visit and also have it with me currently. Also as someone who is currently in medical school, NO MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL would sign off any anything BEFORE seeing prior vaccinations such as if he had prior rabies to make sure his next shot would be good for 4 years. Which to add on; they almost only had his rabies vaccination only effective for 1 year (instead of 4) because; the same person did not indicate that he's had all these vaccines previously. Really sick and tired of the same person doing intake poorly. Not taking the time to read the paperwork or ask proper questions; and making assumptions and going off her poor memory to tell us to get out of line, when she's asked us to come early twice now. UTTER WASTE OF TIME, on multiple accounts. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone, not until they get a new person for intake.

I wish I could divide my review in 5 stars for the employees and 0 Stars for the Vet himself. I was early for the clinic and was the second person in line for my three animals. I brought their previous records and asked about a heart-worm test and a nail trim for my dog in addition to his shot. The Doctor would not perform the nail trim or the heart-worm test as he said they were not essential during Covid. The nice employee gave me a free nail trim coupon for the next visit and 10% off--which was so kind and unexpected. My pets were all due for their shots but their regular vet is closed so I opted to have them seen at this mobile clinic. I wore my mask and everyone stayed their 6 feet apart. When I asked the Doctor about a prescription for heartworm meds for my dog the vet told me if I have questions I can ask my regular vet. I said I just wanted to know if he could write prescription for the generic his very nice employee told me about moments before because they saw it on his previous records. The vet then started to point at me and yell that he "Told you before...you can ask my questions of your regular vet!!!!!! I'm very busy" He went on and on yelling and finally I waived at him to stop yelling and he told me "Don't to tell me what to do" Meanwhile his employees are looking on in horror at this "Professionals" very strange way of addressing clients. I was shocked to be yelled at an embarrassed as it was in front of a line of people--at first I didn't think he was addressing me...it was so strange and out of place!!! I understand times are odd right now, but its no reason to be rude. His employees apologized as soon as the doctor went back into the van with the next pet as they were cleary as shocked and embarrassed as I was. This was 4/25 9:30 at the Orchards Feed Mill Location. I wanted to give a shout out to Good Neighbor Vet. Clinic. We took our dog in to get her Rabies vaccine and also bought flea meds. Well today in the mail they had sent me a copy of my receipt and a $15 rebate form for the flea meds that we bought. Thank you so much. Peggy Barone

Fabulous and affordable veterinary service! It's so important to keep our pets healthy and that means annual exams and upkeep on vaccinations. Unfortunately the cost of these services from many Vets makes it challenging for some pet owners. Good Neighbor Vet addresses this need! Without the added expense of a brick and mortar location and a huge staff, GOod Neighborhood Vet is mobile, partnering with many local pet stores to provide this service. I saw a notice at Pets on Broadway, where I buy cat food, and since funds are tight, decided to bring my 12 year old cat to one of their clinics for the two vaccines that were needed. With a vaccine, the exam is free! Prices are scaled, meaning there is a price for one vaccine, a small additional charge for two, three, etc. They offer new kitten and dog health packages that include all necessary vaccines. They offer micro chipping, parasite and flea protection and more. Check out their website for services, specials, and coupons. The website lists locations with days/and hours scheduled. Get there early, about 20-30 minutes before they open as the lines can be long. They will cut off the line about 15 minutes prior to end time so be forewarned and plan accordingly. The day I was there, the line was long, lots of dogs, cats, and even a Guinea pig. Loved chatting with the other pet owners and meeting the adorable animals. My cat was totally fine in her crate around all the animals as we waited in line. And I enjoyed sipping my mocha that I picked up on the way, to ease my patience, of which I have little, as I waited in line. When I got to the front of line, having filled out paperwork while waiting, the Vet gave my cat an exam and let me know she has some bacteria around her teeth. An ongoing problem that I didn't realize had reoccurred. He showed me the actual problem area and discussed options. The Vet then gave her the two required vaccines. They offer nail trims for $10, something I do regularly but my cat hates, so this was $10 well spent. There is a a punchcard for this service so after 5 nail trims, the 6th is free! In all, it took 7-10 minutes or so once I got to exam. Wait time was 35 minutes in line. Savings, $150. Totally worth it for me! Remember, this is not a dedicated vet office so you are not going to get the same experience, set your expectations accordingly. The quality of the Vet and the exam are the same, but the experience of waiting in line amongst the aisles in the store, the noice and ambiance is different. That is why the prices are so much less than if you visited a dedicated vetinarian office. It's like shopping at Marshall's, you can find a gorgeous designer dress/bag/shoes at half the price but there will not be a personal shopper helping you, the racks will not be as organized and the check out lines will be longer. But your goal was to get that same item at a fraction of the cost. Thank you, Good Neighborhood Vet, for your dedication to pet owners and for being a great partner in the community!

We used the mobile service today on Halsey at Bi Mart , I have to say , they were wonderful! Both the Vet Assistants were professional and helpful. The Vet was amazing, he didn't make us feel rushed and was super positive , kind , patient and he took moments to educate on care . The prices are outstanding. Be prepared for a small wait , depending on how many people show up for services. Overall, a great experience and great value!
