In the past, *** had a good experience working with ***, however something changed last year. They lost track of my tax info, that I had given them in early March, then failed to file my taxes on time and filed an extension. Ok, thats not such a big deal, but *** refuses to take accountability for anything he does - blames the government and all the changes to the tax code, blames the tax software he uses for printing an erroneous message on when to submit my ******** SHS tax (that caused me to have to pay a $532 penalty), blames the postal service, blames my employer, and even blames me in spite of my following the directions his tax filing letter provided to the letter. Never seen someone go from being effective and accurate and easy to work with to total incompetence in a such a short period of time.

Be very careful with them. I was referred to them by family, but they can take over a month to get to your tax return without any communication and often times you will have to file late if you give them your information after Feb. Then three out of the past four years I got a big bill from the IRS because of incorrect income listed on my tax return. I have had to pay 5000 bucks with a lot of that being interest. They also never were interested in helping me out after getting the letter from the IRS. I was SOL. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I changed to another person and she got them done spot on in less than 48 hours. I really am unsure what they are doing that takes so long and with things so wrong. Beware.

I can't begin to express how helpful and thorough this office has been. Every time I walk through the door I am greated with a smile. The level of knowledge coupled with the compassion and concern they have is a 10 star!! I have brought my daughter who is in the military here and she was expedited because she was headed over seas. This allowed her to lower her stress level and spend time with friends and family. My mom also brought her business to Tom and Jayme and received amazing advice and a great job at a very reasonable price. This office goes above and beyond!!

I had to file an amended return this year, and Tom took care of it quickly and effectively. Tom's staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and he makes himself available to answer all of my questions. He even sat down with me this year to help me understand how to set up my LLC accounting. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Advantage Tax.
