I have a beautiful Wyland dolphin cocktail table that the patina was damaged from puppies chewing. Wyland has the bronze artwork go to Firebird Bronze for the patina finish so I sent my table there. I just received it back today and it is so beautiful!! I believe they had to sandblast all the old finish off before applying the patina. It will be in a more protected section of the house so this doesn’t happen again. Tina at Firebird Bronze was great to work with and kept me informed of the progress. Also, they were able to use the same crate that I had built to send the table so that helped save on some of the cost.

The quality of our bronzing was above anything we expected. We lost one of our twins at birth and the hospital created a molding of the twins holding hands before we said goodbye. Because the mold was plaster we wanted it made in a material that would last (and a kid could break). We trusted our mold and ultimately our heart with Firebird. They didn't disappoint. The details they captured were unreal! So thankful for the kindness the team (especially Tina) provided as they walked us through the process. If you need something done, there is no one else I would ever use. Thank you Firebird team!

A masterful restoration by the craftsmen at Firebird Bronze of my much weathered and abused Wyland “Friendly Dolphin.” I purchased him 28 years ago, smitten by what was purportedly Wyland’s first bronze sea mammal in life scale. Friendly Dolphin has trekked with me from the salty air of Laguna Beach, San Diego and Monterey Bay to a decade spent in snow and sun at 6,200 feet near the Wyoming-Idaho border of Teton Valley. Unfortunately I failed to rigorously protect his beautiful and subtle patina and last year back in San Diego he began shedding like a rattlesnake. Fortunately, The Fire God guided me to a guy who knew a guy who applied the original patina. While that fine artisan wasn’t able to work on the project, he directed me to Firebird Bronze where his understudy was available to recreate the original magic. In fact, not only is the restored animal every bit as beautiful as he was in 1992, the sea foam at the base is an even finer and more enchanting color than the original. Genuine thanks to everyone at Firebird who breathed new life into an important part of my collection.

Firebird has been an exceptional experience. They worked with me from 3D printing to the final stage. The staff is friendly and patient. Their workers are not simply welders or casters, but artisans who have a sincere interest in bringing fine sculpture to life. We worked together on a ten foot tall abstract bronze, and the process was delightful every step.

Working with Firebird Bronze has been a pleasure. There knowledge, expertise, professionalism and artistry is top-notch .When I approached Rip and the team I was working on my first large scale monument. I had to manage a tight timeline and budget. Firebird Bronze made the process straight forward and smooth.I come from a unique background of transforming digital to physical fine art. I searched long and hard for a foundry that is equipped and progressive enough to explore this approach. Rip and the team embraced progressive technologies like 3D printing and digital sculpting and modified processes that allowed both parties to save time and money while maintaining quality and artistry.We were able to coordinate milestones that made myself and the buyer comfortable and secure in the process.
