The RV pump out facilities and out of service and have been so for an extended time according to the campground host. Also given its proximity to the host campsite, I doubt there's any incentive to get it fixed. The next park towards Crater Lake was allowing campers to use their facilities but they have stopped allowing it according to the host. The inner ring of campsites have water and AC but no sewage A very low key park that seems to cater mostly to locals at least this time of the year- Early May. We would come back

This is a beautiful county campground. Located on the upper Rogue River, there are 38 campsites, 16 of which have water/electric hookups. There is a boat ramp and access to the Rogue River and Elk Creek. Campsites are $26/night for hookups, $22/night for no hookups. Sites are level and spacious. Camp host is friendly. When we first arrived, we realized our reserved site (#15) had no shade whatsoever, which was an issue because we were in the middle of a major heat wave with 90-100 degree heat. We were lucky, because we were able to find an unreserved site that had full shade. If you want shade, stay away from Site 15. Another issue with site 15 is that it is right next to the spot on the river where rafters pull out, so it gets a lot of foot traffic. There were people who parked their cars in what was our reserved site, even though it had a reserved sign on it. We were happy in our new site, but the beast of this campground is the road noise. The campground is located RIGHT NEXT TO Crater Lake Highway 62. We knew this when we made the reservations, but in reading the reviews no one had mentioned road noise. We didn't realize how much traffic there would be, especially truck traffic, all through the night. The highway curves near the campground, so it is a section where drivers are constantly braking, then accelerating as they go up the hill. Also, like many campgrounds, the vibe changes on the weekend. The weekend campers were noisier and messier. I have to say, in all the camping we have done, I have never been in a campground where campers left food, clothes, trash, etc. out all over tables and the ground the entire time they were in their sites. I'm not a neat freak, and I know we are here to relax because "we're camping", but I have never seen anything like it. Also, the dumpster near our campsite was full, and even though there was a sign asking people to take their trash to a nearby dumpster that was not full, people just dumped their trash on the outside of the dumpster, where it piled up. Such a shame. Quite an eyesore until the trash was finally picked up days later.

We had the best time! Our reservation but at crater lake got all messed up(who can blame, everything is a mess right now) but it was an absolute blessing in disguise. We had such an amazing time at this beautiful campsite. We have a 25 foot RV and had so much additional space as well as a private spot to fish from. Will definitely be back again.

5 stars but wish we could give them 10! The grounds are gorgeous, the river view is beautiful and Lee and Anne are the most wonderful, caring, attentive hosts one can find. The cabin is very clean with a delightful "Old Timey" era specific attention detail that is unmatched elsewhere. While the interior is "Old Timey" visually it has modern amenity updates. To boot, the cabin exterior features very modern relaxation amenities as well. An overnight stay includes a delicious homemade hand-delivered breakfast (where else do you find service like that?) so you can enjoy breakfast in the peaceful serenity of the Rogue River. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the elusive River Otter family that lives on the adjacent bank just across the water. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a cozy, relaxing cabin stay or a divine wedding/ family reunion event on their gorgeous grounds. You won't regret it one bit!

I just got married here and I loved it. Anne and Lee were very accommodating, and made my day that much more special. We stayed the night in the cabin and got a yummy breakfast. I highly reccomend them. They go above and beyond.

Our wedding planning and day of was so smooth thanks to Anne and Lee. They were very helpful and so willing to serve. The venue is very well taking care of; the landscape and everything else that they offer was a huge relief for us. Thank you Anne and Lee for making our wedding so beautiful!

I don't live in Southern Oregon but needed to plan a reception. I was so excited when I discovered The Rogue River Lodge online. I contacted them, Anne and Lee were amazing to work with. Great communication, helpful information, referrals to local businesses. Their customer service was exceptional. Unfortunately I was unable to book my event at The Rogue River Lodge (it is too far from where the guests reside). I definitely plan to hold an event here in the future.

Nice little campground on the beautiful Rogue River. Perfect spot to begin a relaxing floating trip down the Rogue.

Nice little Jackson County Park where the Elk Creek flows into the Rogue River in Trail, Oregon. Paved roads and spaces with many trees. A little tight maneuvering in the park with our 40' MH, but made it ever so nicely around to our site. Nice wide and level spaces with water, elec, table and fire ring (dump station at exit). Wonderful view of the Rogue River right out our front window. We had 4 bars ATT cell and 4G data for wifi. No roof top satellite or over the air antenna. Some traffic noise from Hwy 62 during the day, but quiet at night. Very nice Host. We will return to this wonderful park on the river.
