I never used to have problems when I needed to call the bank. Now every time is a struggle and I dread even needing to. I've been trying for two days to call our branch. They called back yesterday but it was after 5p.m. I had trouble answering in time so I called right back and of course got the we are closed message. I've tried again today, after 9a.m. got a we are closed message. Why? It's normal business hours and day. Tried a couple times, got the same thing. Left yet another message or two and still haven't heard from them. I know they are busy, I respect that. However I should have received a call back by now. The other point, of hearing a message saying the bank was closed during your posted open days and times is unacceptable. New day 3/3. Called again. It's 9:19. The message said, they are close. Again, why during normal business hours, do I hear this message?? Frustration is growing.

The service here is usually really good and the people are super nice but today i went to get a cash advance through the drive thur, i was told i need to come inside because they dont do cash advances throught the drive thru. Once i got inside i stood there for literally a half hour waiting to be helped while they helped everyone in the drive thru. I left after standing there for 27 minutes and not being helped at all. I went to US bank and was in and out within 4 minutes.

They are closing my dads accounts because he wanted cash out of his own accounts, He has been with them for around 30 years, You can be sure I will tell as many people as I can about how they treat people with money . I really shouldn't even give them one star,

Worst bank I've ever dealt with customer service is a joke the employees will lie to you and play stupid about it when confronted. If you want people playing games with your money this is the bank for you

Called night before and asked best time to come in for a notary. They said between 9 and 10 is best[manager]. Showed up at 9:30 and still nobody to do a notary. Waste of time and gas.(35 miles)

I have never had problems with Umpqua bank except for this branch and the one in Newport, OR. This branch is like some kind of circus. Over the years there have been some fabulous employees who inevitably left. My overall experience has been one of repeated failures and an indefensible lack of professionalism. Could be a function of Tillamook County's rather shallow labor pool. My feeling is it's not though, I think the branch is poorly run. Hopefully improvements are in the near future.

Really loved this bank until I had some issues that needed addressing. Customer service was TERRIBLE!
