Great quilt & textile museum! They have exhibitions on, teach classes / workshops, & most importantly, if you call a week or so in advance, they will do a bed turning for you. They take you into their quilt archive & will show you historic quilts with advance notice! Staff are friendly, dedicated, & the museum itself sells very beautiful things made by local textile artists. When we visited, there was an artist working in the loom room.

Very cool little place for anyone who enjoys fiber arts. A museum, classroom, workspace and shop all in one!All the staff members are very friendly and helpful. I learned how to weave on a loom for the first time which was a great experience! Amazing displays of historical items. They sell bundles of yarn sheared right from the cute & friendly llamas who greet you from the field right outside

Started going several months ago, unfortunately they don't post when they are closed to the public or members. Most people seemed very friendly and welcoming except for one.... *Edit-it was made clear to my fiance that they were open to everyone except me and I need to CALL and ask before I go in!!!

It's so nice coming back here ever so often. They usually have people on the looms and doing artistic works, but not day. There was a room with beautiful artistic baskets, bags and more. I wasn't allowed to take photos of these objects, because they will be going on to a other exhibit coming up. You just need to go and see them. There are about four works that are exceptional. They took my breath away!

Such an unassuming building and such treasure to be found! The quilts exhibit changes every 2 months and runs from geometric shapes and traditional designs to creative and innovative use of the craft. There is a room full of looms where people meet regularly to weave. And other delights are there to be discovered. Certainly worth a stop and visit.

We found this Center via internet. We found the Center to be extremely friendly and welcoming. There was a local quilt Artist who had some incredible work, very technical and beautiful. A few locals were working on looms and provided us with more details on looming. There are sewing diaramas and other arts. There are textiles, threads, and other items for sale. It was a fantastic visit. Perhaps will stop again when in Tillamook.

Love, love this place. It is definitely a must stop in Tillamook as this place is also listed as a museum. There are so many things to check out. There are so many things to see in addition to the quilts and fabrics. There are many items that were made years ago on display. There also are weaving machines.Small amounts of fabric are for sale. There are many books and other items displayed either for sale or for viewing. We loved seeing the displays of fabric works done by professional. In one room there was a class discussing the how-to of making items and in another room there was a class on weaving. Yes, there are weaving machines there. So fun and glad we stopped.

Interesting quilt/museum. Glad I went and saw interesting items beyond quilts - weaving, rugs, quilts (new and old), books, plus fabric that can be purchased. Manager was very knowledge and kind. Glad to see people in the area honoring the various art forms. Thank you.

We arrived NOT knowing the schedules nor the variety of different offerings. The staff member was extremely helpful. And understanding. WE ARE GOING TO RETURN! And pre-scheduled events. It will be a great vacation.
