Our store associate, David, was very knowledgeable about espresso machines. I’m not talking about regurgitating information you can already read on some websites, but he has an abound of actual experience from owning and using these models. He knows a lot about maintenance and cleaning, and makes recommendations based on client needs. 1000% recommend.

Holy sshhh…for being such a high-end, boutique-style kitchenware store, their customer service/return policy is garbage. I bought a microplane that snapped in half after 20 uses. I brought the broken microplane to the store and displayed it to the 2 associates: David & some snooty woman wearing a Malibu sweatshirt (fitting) David was helpful, sort of. He processed my return after asking for all my personal information and taking down the info on my license…over a $15 microplane. As if I committed a crime LOL. After he processed my return he loudly explained to the Malibu lady that they would not normally honor that. But clearly they must have acknowledged to some degree it would be ridiculous if they didn’t. I left the store feeling awkward and sort of embarrassed by how I was treated. I won’t be shopping at WS anymore.

Completely clueless employees at the checkout area. The line was around the corner and they’re having long conversations with just about every person at the register. Where is the manager? They also have intense track lighting over where the people are lined up. I was watching people take jackets and coats sauce. It was so hot in there.

Management at this location is a joke. In the same breath they told me they don't have any stock of this skillet, and they can't sell me the display skillet because people need to know what we have in stock. The manager could have easily sold me the skillet, made money for.the company and had a customer that would return. Instead they were rude and lost a future customer. Just avoid this place and shop online from the manufacturer.

My husband and I have been looking at the cafe air fryers. There happened to be one today in the back room marked down. They had it marked as final sale for $374 when they are currently being sold for $329 on their website… when we brought it to their attention and asked since it is in the sale room and has some damage, will it be cheaper than the the $329? They said nope, whatever it comes up as is what it is sold for. So what kind of sale is that? Trying to rip your customers off? Anyone might as well order a new one from the site then with NO damage. Your customer service is severely going down hill.

We can't sing the praises enough for Judy at Williams-Sonoma, Washington Square. She helped us with an espresso machine, then led a seminar on it that we happened to attend there. We were delighted to see her again. Judy is very knowledgeable and has a very pleasant manner of customer service, making you feel as if you're the only one in the store. We love Williams-Sonoma for the quality and variety of their merchandise!

I came here previously for help after receiving duplicate gifts on my wedding registry, the staff did not seem to know how to help and after confirming my address and email multiple times, sent gift cards back to the shower guests that had given me the gifts. It took hours of phone calls and multiple gift cards canceled and resent to finally get the gift cards correctly sent to my home.I was a little stressed to attempt another registry duplicate exchange last week after my previous experience, and this time the manager (?) was unbelievably unprofessional and rude. When trying to get help with a registry exchange, she rolled her eyes at me multiple times, made rude comments rather than being helpful, and gave up helping me- setting the item in front of me and walking away. I was so caught off guard by her behavior. I will just stick to buying online.

Dont buy from or work for williams sonoma brands. They purposely hold your product in their warehouse to accrue interest on your credit cards, then deliver dirty or broken products. Moreover, they aren't a green company, as you can't be with the quantity of products coming from china and india. On a corporate level they are heavily biased and they discriminate. Spend your money at a true American company, buy local.

I've had the worst experience tackling a post purchase issue with this store and WS customer service. I bought an item back in Sep and I'm still waiting on the rewards to show up in my account. The customer service at WS can't seem to locate the order and has punted me to the store. I brought it to the attention of this store's manager last week stating that I'm waiting for a resolution to my rewards so I can apply it towards a new order. I've been waiting for a week for any resolution and called the store again today. I was met with utmost horrible customer service from someone named Jenny, who just hungup on me! Its one thing to not acknowledge your mistake but to be so unapologetically rude.. wow!! Williams Sonoma has my money at this point and I have no resolution to my hundreds of dollars in rewards! Seriously questioning the customer service at WS at this point. I do not recommend purchasing anything at this store location or enrolling in key rewards here.

The Williams Sonoma website states that the Washington Square location in Tigard, OR opens at 10am on Sunday. This is incorrect; in-store personnel said they open at 11am. So customers who arrive at 10am expectng the store to be open will have wasted an hour of their Sunday morning.

If I can give a zero, I would. BEWARE that you cannot return food products!! I purchased a steak sauce for a barbecue dinner party thinking it would be better than A1; well, it tasted like vinegar so I returned it to this mall location. Rude women who berated me for describing the sauce as s____y and took the comment personally plus talking unprofessionally that I didn't need to speak further since they were giving me a credit back. Totally nasty women especially the "manager"--I will never shop there again after being a regular customer of their over-priced goods.
