We've rented three cargo vans from this location in the last 2 weeks. The first two times went flawlessly and the only thing I noticed was the second van wasn't washed and the outside was kinda grimey. This 3rd time I requested one of the Ford Transit vans upon arrival, like I had on the previous rentals. I was told some were available and I could have one. I was given a Dodge van instead, which wouldn't have been a big deal except I was unaware of the higher clearance and that it wouldn't fit in the parking structure I needed to go in. I also rented a dolly and I assumed it would already be in the vehicle as my previous rentals had been. So I had to incur the added mileage and time to go back and get it. Plus this van was dirty inside and out, literally dried mud inside, but not a lot. In the end the job got done and I will just have to remember to double check the fine details next time.

U-Haul rented a storage unit, but, on move out day, U-Haul had blocked access to the building and denied entry. They provided no guidance and just told me that it was my problem, not theirs. I’ve never dealt with a more disrespectful group of employees.

1. Hire more people and spend the time and money to train them.2. Provide adequate customer parking so that we are not required to park at the department store across a very busy 4 lane highway. So busy that you dare not jaywalk, so you have to walk 1/2 block down and another half back to use the light. Does Fred Meyer know that you are sending your customers over to use their parking lot? If not, then that is just down right unethical.3. Don't use equipment that is way past worn out. 130000 miles? Really? The ignition key was SO STIFF that pliers were required to start it. May hands are still sore from the strain of trying without a tool, before I gave up. The steering was so loose it was difficult to keep it in my lane. No doubt the people behind me thought that I was drunk.4. I have been trying to think of one positive thing about my experience and the only thing that I can think of is that it ran for 15 miles without leaving stranded. But then that is the very least that one would expect. Oh yes, the interior of the truck was clean.5. If you are going to provide check in via a smartphone, please provide one that WORKS! I diddled around with that twice in the cold and four times inside, before giving up. I am a computer power user. An employee told me that the app rarely works. It seems to have trouble submitting dates and would hang there. If there was a way to save the information already entered without have to reenter it all on the do over, it would be helpful. One of the worst parts about the UHAUL experience at this site is the invariable long, slow lines. I was so happy that your app was going to eliminate that waste of time for me. It was not to be. Had to check in the old-fashioned way anyway, so that situation has just gotten worse.This franchise is no doubt owned by a very cheap owner. Apparently you have no standards for UHAUL franchisees. Worse yet if it is a company store.Next time I will do and spend whatever it takes to avoid dealing with UHAUL, starting with a visit to the Penske site. In fact, I think that I will just do that now. Penske does not have pickup, but Enterprise does and United Rentals has trailer.Overall rating is terrible. It must be a very good business to treat your customers like this and survive.

They seem so lazy.I had a hitch put on a while ago and they did great. They answered my questions on the phone and got the install done in a timely manner.Now, you are not able to get them on the phone. I went in and 2 of the 3 guys just stood there chatting while calls were coming in that they were ignoring. They appear to have a policy of forwarding all their calls. I was basically told that if I want to talk to someone I need to come in. I was also told their hitch guy quit. Probably a good call on his part.

The representatives that help me made my overall experience of uhaul an exceptional one. Despite the hiccups with no fuel and stuff needing to be moved, and an older truck, they were so nice and professional and are the reason why I would use uhaul again!

This is my second review of this particular location. I have been renting a storage from here and it was the worst decision I have ever made. They continue to treat me poorly, I was told by one of the customer service agents that my file read "no exceptions for this customer" not sure why but when I asked to have extended hours for access to my stuff the GM would not even respond to my messages. I onl y asked because the front gate says for extended hours please see front office. I also have had a bad experience with paying my monthly bill. In Jul y 2023 I paid it over the phone early before even due. Then I received a message saying I had NOT paid my monthly bill, I called them with a representative of my BANK on a conference call and was told that my payment had been disputed and that my $214.00 was returned to a card ending in a number I did NOT own. My bank rep said why was it returned to a different persons card and the U-Haul agent started yelling at the bank lady saying that the card she has returned the $214.00 to was the card I had used to pay my bill, the bank then said no ma'am she doesn't own a card with those numbers and she has ALWAYS paid with a card ending in... U-Haul argued with her and I and the bank then said it is illegal to return money for someone not on the same card that original paid the payment. U-Haul then was extremely rude and hung up on us. It is now October and the $214.00 has NEVER been returned to me or my original and only card. Do NOT rent anything from these rude, lying and extremely unprofessional people, you will regret it as I have for 2 years. When I complain they say well you could move to another storage but financially and physically I can't at this time and they know it isn't that easy and they don't care. This location should be shut down and sued.

Upon vehicle inspection before leaving, I noticed dripping fluid from passenger side of engine compartment. I returned to Uhaul counter and expressed concern and that I felt they should investigate leaking fluid before my departure. I was told by the manager, without a representative checking on my observation, it's ok! I asked if someone could please check it out. I was told by the manager: "We're done hear" I replied: "Ok" and he took the keys from me...Is this the type of customer service you expect from this Tigard, Oregon facility???

We have used this location for years and always have had a great experience, from installation of tow packages to rentals of trucks and trailers. This last rental was no different, Nick was professional and congenial getting the trailer processed, hooked up and also making the return easy. The staff has always been customer oriented and that's why we make them our go to for any moving needs.

The manager at this location, mike, is super knowledgeable and helpful. I have used many services here and they helped me with all of them. I definitely recommend this location!
