The Duck Store is part of the official University of Oregon bookstore (not to be confused with the Go Ducks store online, which is not affiliated with the University bookstore or the university itself, but is an officially licensed online store ran by fanatics). They have some really cool stuff at The Duck Store, some stuff you expect and then some cool stuff you wouldn't. Marcus Mariota or Kenny Wheaton socks? Check. Football autographs from players like Bucky irving, Troy Franklin, and Bo Nix authenticated by a service like Beckett, PSA or JSA? Yup! Columbia Duck gear? Nike? Check. They even have some officially licensed Disney Oregon clothing (including some with the old school Donald Duck logo) and some clothing collaborating with the movie migration and the University of Oregon. There's lots more, too much to list. If you're a Duck fan, walking in here is like walking into a University of Oregon paradise. The employees were friendly and helpful, and they have fitting rooms if you need to try something on. It's always been a good experience coming here.

I'm from California. I'm the huge fan of Oregon ducks for a long time. I was excited to visit to Duck store first time but.. I had terrible experience here. The manager and employee are not friendly, even rude. Never greeting to me when I entered and exit, even I told, "hi" to employee at register but she ignored me. She didn't say any greeting words to me. Please be nice to all races customers equally. Nevertheless I feel bad, I purchased many kinds of goods here because I'm still love Oregon #attitudemakesthedifference

Yesterday we made an all-day Father-Son adventure up to Vancouver, Washington to pick up a puppy for Katie and I. Female Yorkie, seven weeks, gorgeous as can be. On the return to Central Oregon we stopped off at The Duck Store in Washington Square. I had to use my alumni discount before it expired. Bought way too much bling. The store is always clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the shelves are stocked with the latest and greatest. This place really deserves five stars, but they only get one because the chief merch officer is rude, obnoxious, mean, and condescending. He's quite possibly the best example of the worst kind customer service out there. My perception is that he doesn't care -- and he doesn't care that he doesn't care. In fact, when I commented about him to the staff, they agreed. "He's a bad boss but he signs our paychecks so we put up with him." C'est la vie. I would rather spend my money at USC or Arkansas, but I'm an Oregon football fanatic, so I have little choice. Ha!! Perhaps we can get the University of NIKE to fire the guy. Regardless, a freshman marketing major would bring more class to the job. The Yorkie, by the way, yeah, Katie and I adores. She's 2.2 pounds of pure joy.

Since most of my friend's kids attend UO, The Duck Store has become a regular stop for me when at Washington Square, sometimes even the main intent for hitting up this Mall. Beyond the typical caps, t-shirts, mugs, sweatshirts, backpacks and now face masks, I've been able to find gifts that are super practical and well received by some pretty picky receivers. Throw blankets for the dorm bed; coolers for tailgating; mini grills for camping; folding chairs with cup holders; laundry hampers, and packs of golf balls to name a few. Service is great, always friendly and helpful. Store is clean, organized and plenty of space to walk around the displays so you can check everything out uninterrupted. Now that the Duck Store downtown is temporarily closed, the Washington Square location is my go to when I need green & gold gifts.
