Had an allergic reaction to their non-scented deodorant and best they could do is store credit. Which was $15.50.

Great selection, supporting local vendors, makers, crafters with a curated eye towards cool, fun and different. I adore this store and every location. If you want a sense of Portland cool - definitely stop here from a born and raised Portlander I still find magic to discover. The service is always fab too!

Love this store! I want everything they carry, everything! Specializing in items made locally, the breadth of items representing Portland is quite impressive. Jewelry by local artisans mingle with bottles and cans of hard cider, beer and wine. Immediately I noticed the beer type bottles containing Pinot Gris from Coopers Hall, a local taproom. What a fabulous idea for bottles in the go. Don't even get me started in the adorable cat toys! Not your everyday Crayola crayon colors found at pet stores, but soft muted sage, gray, cream, pale blue colors that go with your home decor. In cute Portland icon shapes like doughnuts, fish and even a bag of toys shaped like tortellini for foodies like me. Seriously, adorable! The hand crafted ceramic coffee mugs and bowls were equally functional and art to brighten your space. A corner dedicated to music is in the back right part of the store - they sell their music and offer recording options. Yep, you heard that right. Reusable bags, beautiful canvas totes, cotton long and short sleeve shirts with various sayings, soaps, lotions and bath bombs. For Foodies There Jacobsens's Salt, Oregon Toffees with every add-in combo, jams, gourmet chocolate and more! A section with books on Portland and OR trails with treats for campfires, candles, stickers, travel mugs in plaid - they have curated a fabulous collection! The interior is so pleasing with the white walls and light wood geometric display shelves car creating a mid century vibe. Customer service was warm and friendly, offering assistance and background info on the store. There is another location downtown Portland and one on SE Hawthorne. How have I never stumbled upon Tender Loving Empire before? I'm a shopper and definitely their demographic. Will be visiting all of the stores frequently!

I positively love this store! They have so many wonderful portlandy and other local things you never knew you needed. I want one of everything, maybe more. But I'd quickly turn into a hoarder with nowhere to put everything. I'll definitely be back before Christmas because this is a great place to find something for your hard to buy for friends and loved ones.

A cute miscellaneous goods store located downtown.
The last time I came to the store, a large dog greeted me.

It's all very chic in here. And not like boring chic but fun and interesting. All their items are locally made which made this place more interesting. They have great gifts, foods, jewelry, clothing and music from their own studio? I got my sister some fun pair of earrings by a artisan who's boutique you can go and see them make it. And a couple of fun interesting cards because I'm always sending a card. The staff working there are friendly and helpful. You can probably get some ideas of gifts if you're out of town, looking for something unique or something for yourself. I definitely will stop by here again if I'm in the area.

This shop is so cute!! I am lucky that I stumbled on it, when I was at Bridgeport. I haven been to some of the other Tender Loving Empire Locations like at the airport or on Hawthorne, but my first time at Bridgeport. It is great to see a very local-based shop located inside a mainstream shopping center. In addition to really cute cards and posters, they also carry Salt & Straw ice-cream in individual snack-size portions, so you can get a little pint of yumminess as you walk around Bridgeport!!
