BEST overall experience at TAP PLASTICS!!!
Walked in yesterday morning with a job that was so HOT, we required a one day turn around....and they finished it by dinner time!!! These folks are so knowledgeable about what they do and the customer service is amazing. Had the pleasure of working with Jack and he knew exactly how to help us. Gave great feedback about how we can help them as well. We've been using them for years and all we have to say is, they never disappoint. Very communicative and extremely reliable. Looking forward to continue working with them in the future.

TAP Plastics is the BEST.
I live on a 4th floor corner unit with no shade, and floor to ceiling encasement windows (crank open).. the ONLY AC option is a standing unit, and there is no other option to really secure it in the window other than with plexiglass. I was able to bring in my screen from said window (I’m horrible with measurements), the AC hose and in less than 24 hours I had two pieces cut for two of my windows!! They even recut a new piece for me when I realized one didn’t fit the same way as the other and have provided the best service I’ve had from a business in a very, very long time.

I am a huge fan of TAP Plastics and have been going there for years. Today was the first time I’ve ever had a negative experience. The older woman at the counter looked at me as if she were surprised when I had to ask what the options were and what sizes they offer. Basic questions that don’t warrant pointed looks after each one is asked. And when it was time to pay, I was unable to use their machine because it didn’t accommodate for cards that don’t have chips. She became frustrated when I told her she would have to enter the card, and that frustration was very misguided. Their machine being unable to process my payment method is not my problem and the pushback was not appreciated. If I see this person working the counter again I will come back another time.

I brought a couple of 4' x 8' sheets of plastic in to be ripped to 34" wide. Even though they were busy, they accommodated my request (at no charge) and completed the cuts in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend TAP for their expertise and superior customer service.

Updated 12/26/23 - Upon reading my original negative review (posted below without edits), the company reached out to me pretty much immediately. They offered me a full refund or a no-cost replacement for my aquarium lid. I am super impressed by their customer service policy. I would recommend this store to anyone in the future. It's rare to find honest tradespeople these days, so I felt the need to appreciate them when I encounter one.________________Original review:I think they are a good business, but they happened to give me bad advice. I contacted them to machine a lid for my aquarium. I had polycarbonate in mind, but also asked about acrylic. They said polycarbonate will warp and suggested I go with acrylic. Acrylic was also slightly more expensive, but I went with the expert advice. Welp. Not even a few days after putting the lid on, the acrylic warped. Now it has been 3 months and the warpage is severe to a point where the fish could jump out if they really wanted to.The quality of the machining and delivery time was really good. The two stars is just for the bad advice. Now I have to spend more money for a proper lid.

Jack and Manuel were incredibly helpful and gave some of the best service we've received anywhere. They went out of their way to aid us despite coming in so soon before store closing. Both were knowledgable in practice and parts that we'd need to complete our project. Very grateful for this kind of help from TAP Plastic's employees.

Tap plastic in Tigard is amazing! The staff is helpful and very professional.I needed 3 custom pieces of plastic and they were able to take care of me on the spot! Would definitely return.

Jack is an angel! After agonizing over getting a sheet of plexiglass cut for a month, I came in here and it was done in 30 seconds, and it was perfect. 10/10 recommend them! I’ll never go anywhere else again.
