Big shoutout to Jason who helped me out with the climbing shoes. I didn’t know y’all had a rock I could try the shoes out on and he recommended bringing the ones I liked over there to try out. HUGE game changer and completely swayed my opinion on some shoes and ultimately led me to finding the perfect pair for me. When I’m crushing the V5’s it’ll be because of Jason.

Made a purchase online for pickup 4 hours later I go to the store and the item is not there and the employee stated that she couldn't see that I'd even placed tye order even though I had an order number issued by REI. Placed another order online for pickup called to verify stock. An hour later when I returned.. with an order number.. I was told that the order hadn't come through.. checked the CC and it had a hold for the exact amount of the item I wanted ...I canceled the order and went with a more reliable source..
No confidence in this organization...

While on a bike tour I came in around open for a bike pump. The staff were super nice, and Tony in the bike shop was really helpful and even gave me a quick tune up and chain lube after he and another staffperson helped me get the perfect pump. Made it up to seattle with zero issues and thankfully no need for the pump

Big thanks to Kelly and Chris for helping us buy MTB bikes for my son and me. They gave us test rides to find the right bikes, were patient, knew the products well, and adjusted the bikes for us. Great service!

My wife purchased a $500 tent at REI. It went on sale this weekend and was almost $200 cheaper than the original price. She went back to the Tualatin store and worked with Trevor who was the manager. She was 3 days outside the 14 day price adjustment period. They refused to give her the refund, so she asked to return the unopened and unused item. REI has a 1 year 100% satisfaction guarantee return policy. Trevor told my wife he was disappointed in her for trying to circumvent their price adjustment policy.
Trevor is an employee of REI. His opinions should be kept to himself. I’m on a fixed income after a medical retirement last year. If REI had competitive pricing instead of big sales to make up for it, we could afford to buy more. I told my wife I would rather she returned the tent and spent $800 somewhere else than to get scolded by Trevor, the REI manager.
That was a disappointing experience by a manager representing REI. I guess lost customers are not a big deal in 2024. I could understand if my wife was rude or we were trying to return a used tent. I’m sure some people do that. We just wanted a competitive price. We will just shop somewhere else where there is no judgement from the Trevor's of the world. Thanks REI Tualatin.

We came in to look at maps and backpacking food, and the employees were all super helpful. Cody was particularly awesome and knowledgeable: REI was out of the map we were looking for, and he provided a ton of great alternatives so that we could get the map in time!

Just got back from a trip to the Tualatin store. Wife and I went there to buy some various things including some summer water shoes and some good hiking boots. While I usually have pretty good service when I there - today was something special, a GREAT guy named Neil helped us and was absolutely fantastic!! I hope his management reads this along to him.

Is the best sporting goods store in all of Oregon, and the bicycle department is incredibly complete, they have everything and the most impressive thing is their work team for bicycle repair and maintenance. They are 100% PROFESSIONAL AND ATTENTION

REI is a fun place to visit. Lots of stuff to see and buy. From backpack's and dehydrated meals to shoes , clothing and much, much more for the outdoor inspired. Love this place!

It's R.E.I. If you want the best stuff, and the second best stuff, this is your place. If you like 10% back and a lifetime satisfaction guarantee, you'll find that here. The sales people will likely have firsthand experience with the product you have questions about, they'll be friendly, they'll try to sell you the cheapest and best membership you've ever been offered. If that's for you, this is your place. The other places have lots of guns, if that's your thing, don't go here. I don't think they have those.

Love coming to this REI, I always have a pleasant experience. My husband and my daughter go frequently and have always had great customer service. Though today I had a bad experience with a staff member named Mike. Which is why I am giving the store 3 stars. I didn’t noticed my daughter had knocked down 2 cups in the tumbler aisle and he came up to us and slammed them down in front of my one year old to put them back in place. It was my fault for not putting them up straight but I was really shocked how rude his attitude was, so we quietly walked away. Will be coming back but will be avoiding Mike not cool at all.
