i reached out when my baby was 4 months old with a prescription but the head person in that department at that time refused me service and discouraged me to be on the waitlist. she passed me along to their other location in Montana, where i was paying over 120 dollars for shipping. my husband lost his job and i recently tried to call back asking for help and no one has returned my call for months.*update* after i left a review, leslie reached out to me from this location- she was very receptive and kind to want to assist me. at this point i had the best experience with jessica in the Montana location since she was able to help me and my baby for the longest time.i am thankful for this organization and wish them well.

I cannot say enough about this place and their staff! I came in right before closing with a last minute order was placed when we were in need. They stayed to help us out and we are very grateful! Thank you for doing the community a much needed service!

This place offers a valuable service to the community and for that they get 5 stars. This place has been a great source of argument in my household because the price to supplement with milk from here is about 70 bucks a day for my twins.I believe this is a very special and unique product they offer but the price is simply too high as if the very few customers that pay the retail price are subsidizing the rest of the operation

I can't speak highly enough of this place. It's such a vulnerable thing to be reliant on & the people working there are nothing short of compassionate. They also have a drive thru for easy pick up!They are understanding & accommodating. As the formula shortage continues, in this climate, these people are a breath of fresh air.I am no longer eligible for donor milk but I am so grateful for the fact that this place exists. The price of milk is expensive. It is a precious commodity. I understand the price & the privilege it was to have donor milk. I wish I had the ability to donate so I could give them back what they gave me.So grateful for this place, their service, and the consideration they gave me !

To say this establishment is a life saver would be an understatement. Myself my fiance and especially our 3 day old would give this a 6 stars if possible.

They provided us a great stop-gap to ensure our baby was fed in the few days after delivery until we could find a couple donors. He was 15% underweight due to complications on day 3 when we started supplementing and it was very helpful to have supplemental milk that was easy to acquire. My main complaints about this milk are the cost and the handling. To feed him supplemental milk at the 16-18 ounces a day the pediatrician had him on from here is about $75-$80 a day, which is astounding. I am sure there is a reason for the cost being that high but it does make it unrealistic for more than a couple days. The other issue I have is that the only option is to buy pasteurized milk. To me this makes this a really inferior source of milk. Some of the biggest benefits to breast milk are the enzymatic components, the immune components and the bacterial components. All of these are destroyed by pasteurization. For a C-section baby, which most people using their service would be, it is absolutely imperative that a good bacterial seeding of the digestive tract is achieved early on. They really need to offer unpasteurized milk for sale to low risk babies. It is by far the healthier option.

I'm so excited to be a breast milk donor with Northwest Mother's Milk Bank! They have been great throughout the entire process. They've answered a lot of my questions and generally been very kind. The process to become a donor doesn't cost you anything and they work really hard to make it as convenient as possible for you. Then they take the milk portions I've given and pasteurize them before giving them to babies that need it the most. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs breast milk for their baby or has breast milk they would like to donate.

They made the whole process easy. From ordering to pick up to storage instructions, it was seamless and a great experience! It was very calming in a stressful situation to have someone there to help and get what we needed to feed or new babies.

I'm a new mom and was having trouble with my milk supply so i was seeking out an alternative for my new baby. I am a minority and am a part of a black moms breast feeding support group and was told i could try to supplement using donor milk. I contacted my pediatrician and was referred to Northwest Mothers Milk Bank. Upon calling them i was told i could qualify for financial aid due to losing my job from covid 19. After driving an hour to get there i was given a one day supply to give to my daughter which i was greatful for but in order to receive more i needed to fill out the finacial aid support paper work. Im someone with a learning disability so i usually require help filling out paper work. When i asked for help the women who assisted me was very condescending and demeaning. I ended up leaving in tears. I would hope that a non-profit would be more courteous and understanding of the stress not only a new mom is under but someone with a learnining disability can face especially while adjusting to the lack of sleep a new mom faces. I would hope in the future that the staff can be more courteous and kind to every mom that needs their help and that no one has to feel the way they made me feel. Its truely heartbreaking not being able to produce breast milk for your child but on top of that to be treated in such a way. I can only hope that the staff memeber was having a bad day and that the color of my skin had nothing to do with the way i was treated.Lesley the executive director was extremely kind and apologetic in response to my first experience with the clinic.

Great opportunity to help those in need. Staff has been incredibly helpful and very thorough in the application process. The amount of testing and interviews you must go through makes you feel good that they are really making sure that the end recipients (ie premies) are receiving safe nutrition. Looking forward to continuing to donate more!
