They charged me over double the cost of the original return for "extra correspondence".5. When I confronted them about it, they said "too bad, pay the invoice or we will not file your taxes by the deadline today"

Scam Scam ScamGot a random email from this company which I have never heard of asking for private information to complete someone else's (whom I had also never heard of) taxes. Looked up their phone number from the website, called them, and they said they were trying to finish my business taxes. If this is a legit company, they are very careless with people's information, asking for confidential data over an unsecured email.Scam Scam Scam

Bob and Becky and the rest of the team are as good as it gets. I will only use them, and I hesitate to write such a positive review as I don't want them to get too busy... :).... but I have to tell the truth and let all know that they are the best tax and accounting service in Oregon. Bar none. I've been with them for over a decade and I will not go anywhere else.

I've been using Bob Nelson as my accountant for 4 or 5 years and he's always been forward thinking and proactive about our tax returns. I highly recommend Bob to anyone needing services from an accountant!

Bob and his staff are really just amazing. Having been self employed for 25 years, I had always done my taxes my self, since they were very simple so I thought. I was the subject of a TurboTax virus that infected my electronic returns for 4-6 years, and the IRS took aggressive actions to collect, which I had no recourse through TurboTax as they claimed an infected file was not their fault. Long story short, Bob sat with me and let me explain the feelings I had, and the anxiety I felt toward doing taxes. He put me at ease, made a few changes in our business structure, and lowered our tax liability. I am forever grateful for Bob and those is the office. They are professional, on time, and the sort of folks you want to keep in your circle of influence for the rest of your life. He has given his time and expertise to help me get through the most difficult part of doing business. Thank you to all those at Nelson & Co. You truly are a treasure, and I recommend you highly.
