Great experience. Nice unique pieces to choose from. Very knowledgeable, courtesy help. I will go back again when I have more time to look.

Bought 2 sweet bracelets for my wife's Xmas and they look better than the solid gold ones I also got from a local jeweler.Great value!

We went to so many jewelry stores, looking for my husband's wedding band, and found the perfect gold band here. The staff were super nice and helpful and I really appreciated them. Other jewelry stores had staff that were either really pushy or had super sleezy salesperson vibes. Everyone I interacted with here was genuinely very kind and helpful and knowledgeable, and it just was like a way better experience than any of the other jewelry stores we went to. Definitely would recommend checking it out!

Terrible service and terrible quality. I purchased my wedding band from them as I passed by and really liked a certain ring I found. I had worn my ring for roughly 9 of 10 months and it had become VERY worn and one of the inlays had fallen out. Keep in mind I work in an office setting and do NOT do anything I would call “rough” on my ring. I took the ring in as I assumed the ring would be covered under the two year warrenty from defect that they state. The ring had to be sent back to Hawaii for them to inspect and repair the ring. I get a call weeks later stating that it would not be covered under warrenty as it was excessive wear and it was essentially my fault. The repair was stated to be almost 200. I said I would think about it and would let them know. I stopped into the store after deciding to let them know I would go ahead with the repair. They insisted that I prepay for the work before they would okay for it to be done. I asked if I could just pay when the repair was done. They said no. At this point as it had been several months of going back and forward with them of details and trying to get into contact as to why this wasn’t a warrenty repair I became frustrated. I ended up telling them to just send the ring back as I was put off with this whole situation. They are erogant and had no touch of their “mahalo” that they like to say every time the talk to you. Terrible quality and even worse customer service. For charging 600 for a basic band with terrible quality they sure have a lot of attitude. DO NOT BUY from them! Save your money and go to a different jeweler. The only “advantage” they have from anyone else is their unique styles but don’t let it fool you. Just a bunch of corporate bull the same of the rest, including not honoring their warranties.

My fiancé has gotten a lot of jewelry from Na Hoku for myself and his mom. We've always loved the experience. However, this last time wasn't so pleasant. We went in to see if we could get a ring resized. The lady who helped informed us it can't be resized but did mention another option. They had a lil thing that could fit behind the ring to make it fit. From there, she became condescending. Saying things like "if I give this to you, will you use it?" as if I was a child. She asked if I lost a lot of weight for the resizing. I asked if they had a smaller size, to which she replied, "I can't just give it to you." we hadn't even discussed payment. And I never asked for anything free. She then made comments about how the ring I had is already so small that they probably don't have anything smaller. Which did not make the condescension any better. Please DO support this company! They are still one of the only jeweler's we actually want to support. But I hope judgments and comments about weight or money will eventually be a thing of the past.

Honestly the worse. They do NOT take care of their customers. For as much money spent, joke. My husband bought me a necklace from here, and I went back and ask if I could exchange the chain bc the chain pulls out my hair and the sales lady says, which BTW I didn't ask for her opinion, she goes WELL i dont experience that. Anyway, she tells me she'd have to speak to the manager and turns out, no, they refused to exchange the chain. Its a dainty necklace btw, and short, just a basic chain. But nope. Fast forward a year of keeping it bc I couldn't exchange it, I finally decide to start wearing it, day 2 of wearing all day, it snaps off clean in the middle of the chain. If you go to their website and read their terms, it clearly says lifetime warranty but not for wear and tear or lost gems, so what is the lifetime warranty for? TRASH $400 down the drain. Do NOT shop here. Go to anywhere else, I bet Claire's chains would last longer.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Horrible experience. I bought earrings and a necklace for my wife and the posts hurt her ears because they were so thick. I tried to return them and lost the receipt and even though they were obviously Na Hoku they refused the return. Buyers beware.

I have many items from Na Hoku as my sister used to work there. After many years my jewelry is holding up like a champ and still looking like new. Happy shopping!

Bought two wedding bands for our ceremony in Hawaii. After our ceremony, we had to have the rings resized. Na Hoku agreed to mail us the rings once they were ready. When we received them there were two diamonds missing. We sent the rings back and Na Hoku replaced them. When we got them back, we took them to our jeweler to get soldered. They informed us that there were three additional loose diamonds. Would not advise purchasing jewelry from Na Hoku.

I saw a ratty $100 in your display case and thought maybe someone left it there because no jewelry store would have a worn out $100 bill and scratched up money clip on display for something, or maybe it's just a decoy so whatever. Point is, I mentioned it to an employee and she very rudely scoffed at me and said it's fake like I was the biggest idiot ever. I hate my job too but I'm not rude right off the bat to people for no reason. Figure it out.

Stopped by last nite with my three daughters and asked the sales lady if she would size my daughters finger for a Christmas ring purchase I intended to make. I have been buying them jewelry including Plumaria necklaces and items from this jeweler since they were little. I was completely taken back by her immediate change in attitude when she realized I wasn't going to be buying them right now with her. Her fake smiles turned a look of bothered within two seconds. She told me that they only did that at the time of purchase. I explained to her that I can't purchase the rings without knowing the girls sizes. She looked at me asked ask if I'm going to be buying them at her store? As if to say, if not I will not be bothered with you. She wasn't busy, she was a terrible representative of this store who lacked any semblance of customer service. I looked at her in shock and disgust and said "you know what, on second thought... Don't bother yourself. You have a nice day". I walked across the way about 75 feet to a big jewelry retailer and asked the same question of their sales lady who smiled and pulled out a simple tool and had my daughters sizes in about one minute or less. I will be writing a great view for their company and my appreciation as soon as I make sure people understand the lack of customer service I received at this Hawaiian store where I have spent $1000's on their overpriced jewelry over the years. I will never shop there again and I strongly advise that others do the same..

We bought all our wedding rings here 10 years ago and subsequently purchased several other pieces. While originally satisfied, i think we are done. For our 10th anniversary I thought I'd get a second wedding band to compliment my wife's first. Disaster. Three rings shipped and All were wrong - style of diamond, gold color or ring size. They had our previous order for comparison and shipped only because they didn't carry that specific one in the first place - so why ship what they already had. I didn't know the size, but told them it was prob too small to size and they had the previous order to compare. They did not compare and thought they knew better. Nope, can't size once they even got the right style and color after multiple shippings. So now we are 2 weeks past my anniversary and debating on a New special order. The price has increased several hundred from our original quote and we are looking at 5 weeks wait time if we do it. And we don't get to see the diamond quality or anything. Yay for competence. Yay for service. Yay for cost value ratio. Well, not! Take that into consideration as you think about the long term - as this is a customer that has bought 7 pieces in the last 10 years, and none of them cheap. They aren't willing to compromise anything after their mistakes left me giftless for my 10 year. Thank you!
