Buying a car from May Auto Sales was the best used car buying experience I've ever had. Working with Bobby and Abe was a breath of fresh air compared to the high-intensity and slimy experiences that you often encounter at other used car dealers (including the one I went to before May Auto Sales). The overall quality of the vehicles on this lot is very high. They did not have any problem with me taking the Toyota Camry I was interested in to a local mechanic (of my choosing!) for a pre-purchase inspection. The inspection came back completely clean, the vehicle was in excellent condition and didn't even have an oil leak (for a 9 year old car that's pretty amazing). I truly believe they only purchase the best quality used cars for their lot.
I have now had the Toyota Camry I purchased from May Auto Sales for four months and have both commuted in it and driven it longer distances. It has gone to my mechanic twice, right after purchase for a full fluids change and then last month for an oil change. Still nothing has come up that needs to be done for this car beyond the oil change.
If there were any cons, I would say it was in the vehicle detailing. Under the hood, something slightly sticky was applied to the plastics in the engine compartment (probably to make the plastics look nice and dark and new), but it was unpleasant to find that it also came off on my hand when I rested my hand on the plastic without knowing. The other spot was the plastics in the cabin (dash, etc.) which had something applied to them as well which seemed to give off a slightly chemical or maybe “new car” type smell that I didn't like and which seemed to gather and hold onto dust over the ensuing months. Both of these could be pretty easily fixed with a little cleaning.
Overall I will certainly be recommending this dealer to anyone that is looking for a used car in the Tigard area.

We bought a 2014 Toyota Prius here last week. I admit I had some trepidation coming in (used car dealers have a reputation generally speaking) but these guys put all that to bed. Bobby was awesome - no pressure, facilitated an easy test drive, helped us schedule a pre-purchase inspection, was up front about everything. After the inspection there were a few minor issues with the car that Bobby and Abe resolved to our satisfaction. We financed through OnPoint credit union which was really easy as well. We ended up with a car that really meets our needs and that came at a fair price. No complaints at all - I would purchase here again.

I would highly recommend buying a car from them! They both were friendly and offered plenty of information about the cars they had without having any pressure to buy! The whole process was quick and easy too.

Best experience of any place to buy a car. They don't go back and forth on price, just give you a reasonable price period with no frills or unnecessary things. The car we bought has been great for about 3 years and we are looking there again for another car.

We had a great experience here getting our daughter a car for college. First, they had a huge inventory of used Corollas that were right in our price range. Second, they went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable with every aspect of the car we chose. They replaced the brake pads while we waited. Last, as we were getting ready to drive off the lot, we discovered a problem with the radio. To my complete surprise, they stayed late and swapped it out with a working unit so that we could drive home with everything working! Highly recommend.

Believe the hype -- this unpretentious family dealership is almost surreally low-pressure and helpful to work with. We drove off the lot in our new-to-us Prius within an hour or two, and couldn't have been happier with the experience.

We went to May Auto on Saturday and drove home with a new car on Tuesday , May auto is family owned by father and son ,not your big or average car dealers, they treat you like a friend ,they already know you, they truly work with you, customer service is outstanding
We couldn't have ask or went to a better place to buy a car, our overall experience was wonderful!

We went to test drive 3 vehicles, I ended up interested in a Corolla & so we proceeded to try & work with them so we ran our info 24 hours later we are told because they lied about the title being branded they said it was because we didn’t have good credit when we were approved for a $27,000 vehicle while they could even get $15,000 finance with the vehicle they said wouldn’t show any issues with getting a loan, so they lied about our credit & the condition of the vehicle to get a sale. next day-go to another dealership get approved for a vehicle for a $24,000 vehicle almost brand new vehicle
These people will smile in your face the father & son pretending they have good customer service with there auction vehicles & lie in your face about what they can do and the condition of the vehicle
*-My experience says you are better of looking for a different dealership if you are reading this please be careful there are a lot of better options for dealers then these so called family business they smile in your face & are crooked to just make some money with there auction vehicles

My husband and I had a great experience buying a car here. I’m blanking on his name but the guy working was super welcoming and helpful, he was very excited about our newborn who was with us. We had a minor issue a couple months after buying and they were super apoplectic and fixed it quickly free of charge. I expected all car salesmen to be slimy but these guys are far from it!

I’ve spent the last 2 weeks going to used car lots, messaging with people, trying to find a car, and I gotta say this place was truly the best experience of all of them! It’s such a stressful process buying a car, and Bobby and his Dad who run the place didn’t make me feel pressured at all, and were totally patient with me and really helpful. I got a very trustworthy vibe from them, and they provided all the carfax details with no hassle and were straightforward with me. I would absolutely recommend going to them to buy a car! I got a 2013 Prius C and am very happy with it. They even did an extra shampooing detail of the inside and changed the air filter for me with no extra charge as there was a hint of smoke smell in the car.

Really appreciate Abe and Bobby showing us the vehicle and made the purchase process simple, quick and easy. Didn't felt the typical "sales pressure" during my visits here.

I recently bought a 2006 Toyota Tacoma from May Auto. Abe and Bobby were a pleasure to work with and made buying my truck such a smooth process. They're very honest and knowledgeable about the cars on their lot!
