Locally owned and operated for many many years! Delightful owner is very helpful but does not pressure you to buy if you have questions about items. Classes are varied and fun. Highly recommend!!

Stepping into Main Street Stamp & Stationery in Portland is like entering a whimsical wonderland. The shop is a treasure trove of beautiful papers, unique stamps, and every pen and ink imaginable, perfect for any stationery enthusiast.
The owner is absolutely fantastic – knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely interested in her customers' projects. Our conversation was delightful, filled with inspiration. We spoke for a couple of hours and it wasn't near enough.
The warm, inviting ambiance makes it more than just a shop; it’s a haven for creative souls. Whether you're hunting for the perfect greeting card or just seeking inspiration, this place has it all.
Five stars for the fantastic owner, enchanting atmosphere, and sheer joy of visiting. If you live in Portland, you're lucky and if you're ever visiting Portland like I was, don’t miss this little slice of stationery heaven!

Love this little shop. The owners are very kind and happy to help you take your time to find the perfect writing tool. Ended up picking out a nice utilitarian—but elegant—Cross fountain pen. Great selection of fountains by the way, though I'm often here for ballpoint refills or to see what stationary they have in stock. Lots of other things I haven't taken a closer look at that the store offers.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The inventory of fountain pens was much more extensive than I was expecting. I'll return to visit them again the next time I visit Portland.

What a wonderful store! Kim and Deb were so sweet. Helped me pick out my first fountain pen and assisted me with testing it out. They were both so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I love my new Lamy pen! As an ink enthusiast I highly recommend checking this place out. I'm looking forward to trying one of their classes soon!
