They know where there carts are at, not much else. I came here having bought a table saw and asked about using sleds or jigs to cut logs. I might have been saying: "Have you gone to Mars" The person was so flabergasted I was using a table saw to rip wood they just had no idea clamps, sleds, or anything what to do.
Another time I came there and was curious about some poly sand and how long it would stay. Well again it was like beyond: "We sell it, it's here." Nothing much else.
Then during the pandemic I got a wheelbarrow never delivered and I ask about it and they marked it shipped but never received it.
I don't know if it's just this site, but Lowes in general from my youth of: "Go here, they know more than Home Depot." Has turned into: "Don't go here, they don't know what they are doing."
I give them a shot every once in a while and just completely regret it.

Decent for a big box store.

Homedepot didn't have what I wanted, but Lowe's did.

Store was fine, but tried to call the store department to ask a question about the product before driving 30 minutes to store. I was on hold for 20 minutes, just hung up and went into the store.

I discovered that they had lots of stuff I didn't want but none of what I really needed....just like Home Depot! "Sad really."

I found what I was looking for. Couldn't find it at the other home center. I also found a couple of items that are nice to have. It's a good store. I found a person and asked about this storage devise, and they sent me to the correct isle and spot.

Locking your doors 6+ minutes before closing is not ok. I had time to grab what I needed and check out before “closing” but instead I made the trip for nothing. Very disappointed in this store.

This location in Tigard is suburban oriented..not so much construction or contractor

The staff was very helpful, especially at the self-checkout, which I don't like.

Went in to buy two Dewalt cordless tools, a driver and a ratchet. I knew what I wanted after about 5 minutes of browsing. All the tools were locked up or tied down. First guy I found didn't know the code and said there's another guy who could help. Other guy eventually came and walked right to another guy who had just arrived. I'm not rude so I waited with plenty of eye contact to show I was waiting. He walked away with the guy to anither department. Ok, then. Guess I'll be buying them on Amazon. This was the Tigard, OR location.

The staff were SOOO nice and helpful! I came in last-minute trying to get a bunch of short lengths of heavy chains but had no idea how best to go about it, and they helped me figure out what I needed and got me out right at the buzzer. Thanks so much! (Esp to the older gentleman who patiently cut all those chains for me! ?)

Every time we hit a Lowe's it slips a little bit further down than Home Depot... And I'm not a big Home Depot fan. (update 6/2024 Maps wants an update of this review, but it won't show me the listing so I have no idea which location this is. So no change I guess.)
