If I could give ZERO stars, I would have. Their ads have them going to bat for you against the cheapskate insurance industry, but it couldn''t be further from the truth. Dealing with Leif's is a nightmare.

Had a terrible experience from start to finish. Ben Trujillo was our service representative, he was rude and disrespectful. They kept our car for two months. Quoted for hood, front bumper, fender and blend on doors....that didn't happen. Charged for it but clear coated over rock chips. Ordered incorrect marker light cover, had to leave with one white and one orange light cover. When they put car back together no attention to detail. Body lines do not match, broke front cowl, missing insulation strips and clips, installed wipers incorrectly and hood doesn't close properly. Car was rummaged through unnecessarily like they were looking for money. Even stole 2 license plate screws. Pre loss condition was their claim and they missed the mark terribly.....

I can't say enough good things about Leif's. Our truck was returned to us detailed and looking as pretty as it did the day we bought it new. Both Brian and Michael deserve this 5 star rating, they were amazing! They took fantastic care to make sure we were updated and taken care of through the entire process. Thanks Leif's! We will definitely refer to you when asked where to go for the best collision repair and customer service. The Vandervests

Believe the reviews and the “F” rating from the BBB!It took more than a month for a job that should have taken a few days.Once they have your car, they pretty much hold it hostage until you agree to some things, including a mandatory charge for labor materials. I could tell that I was not dealing with a reputable company, so I told them I would pick up my car. They said there would be some charges, including storage fees of $400 per hour for corporate time, $110 per day for outside storage, $150 per day for inside storage, $35 administration fee, 20% of the negotiated estimate, and any sublet or tow bill plus a 30% mark up. So much for a free estimate. There were multiple supplemental charges after the initial estimate. For a job as minor as mine, they should have kept their promise and completed the job according to their original estimate. At one point, they told me insurance would not cover blending of paint so that the door panels matched. They wanted me to sign a waiver form regarding that, if I chose not to pay for it. I called my insurance company that same day and they told me this request was not submitted to them, but they would cover the expense. I sent an email to Leif’s that same day with the “good news” that my insurance would cover the blending. The next day, Leif’s told me it was too late and they had already done the painting - without even giving me an opportunity to either pay for the blending or sign the waiver! And there is evidently something called DENIB that costs $320, and was not included in the original estimate. Just say no to this! They talked to me in a demeaning way. At one point I had to remind them that I was the customer and deserved to be talked to in a respectful way. What do I want at this point? What I do NOT want is to be contacted by Leif’s so they can try to justify and make excuses for their behavior. What I WOULD like is simply a written apology for their terrible customer service and leave it at that.

I brought my 2022 Ram 1500 truck in after it was hit by a deer. Had some damage on the front driver panel, driver door. I dropped it off over 5 weeks ago and the communication has been sub par at best. They refuse to give any sort of timeline, even if it's general. I have a rental vehicle and the truck is in the same status spot as it was 3 weeks ago. When I ask for a general timeline (are we talking months or weeks?) they refuse to answer and say they will let me know. I have not 1 time received an incoming call and have to call multiple times to reach anyone who can help me.Services: Painting

There should be a negative stars as an option. Now, I know why this guy has to run so many commercials on the radio. Once you go to this guy, you'll never go back. Think about it. My business has been going strong for 15 years. And, all by word of mouth. If I advertised as much as this guy. I would be to overwhelmed. Just a word to everyone. Any business run as many commercials as LEIF'S should be a RED FLAG! For 10 years plus of business if he did good work, he wouldn't need to advertise. My daughter in law just got her car out of the shop. We all told her NOT to go there but they do what they do. I told her to write a review. She's afraid cause these people scared her so bad. So, I'm writing for her. Leif!!! Shame on you! Leif, get a clue. You've got a big turn around in your employee's just as much as customer base. God gave you a blessing and this is how you use it??

I should have taken 5 minutes to read Leif's Auto Collision Centers before taking my car to them. Ben Trujillo was dismissive and would get snotty every time I reached out to him and all I wanted was an update. Even my insurance company stated that this company does not clearly communicate with them. Never again.

I heard the commercials for years and remembered, just in case. When I had to file my first insurance claim I went to them, gave them a claim number from my insurance company. They lent me a car - I had to wait a bit for it but my car was safe to drive. They completed the work carefully and quickly. I got my car back out not one single penny over my $1000 deductible. The car looks great. Five stars.

I am really sorry I decided to have my car towed to Leifs. They literally hold your car hostage while charging $110.00 a day while doing nothing. They will not release your car to you until your insurance pays them and it has cleared their account, which for some reason takes 5-7 business days. Customer service sucks. I hear so many commercials talking about how they are the guys holding insurance companies to higher standards, but in my opinion Leifs is taking advantage of it's customers in order to screw insurance companies out of every single penny they can. My car ended up being a total loss which was decided 3 days after arriving there, while my insurance company could have probably saved a little by moving just a little faster Leifs held my car for 5 extra days saying the check needed to clear.

My experience at Leif's Auto Collision Center was beyond disappointing. The customer service manager's condescending disposition was evident from the start. Instead of providing helpful guidance, they resorted to slander and scare tactics, attempting to coerce me into fighting with my insurance company – a completely unprofessional approach.Throughout the five-week repair process, communication was almost nonexistent, leaving me in the dark about the status of my vehicle. To make matters worse, when I finally received my car, the repairs were incomplete, partly due to them ordering the wrong model bumper. Shockingly, they refused to take any responsibility for these issues, consistently shifting the blame onto me and my insurance company.I strongly advise anyone seeking auto repair services to steer clear of Leif's Auto Collision Center. Their reliance on radio ads to attract customers under false pretenses is a clear indicator of their lack of integrity. Find a reputable shop that values transparency and customer satisfaction instead.Service: Body & Trim

False advertisement they say they work for the customer not the insurance companies. They work like lawyers milk both sides. If there were percentage of stars I would go lower or even a Zero. I used Leif's about 15-20 years ago and had no problems, they were great. But this last time it took over 6 months to get a bumper, skid plate and wheel fixed. They use the excuse they are waiting on the insurance company for this and that when the insurance company says they are waiting for validation and info from Leif's. It was a headache with hundreds of emails back and forth. And in the end costing me thousands over my deductible.

Gentlemen in the collision repair department was basically telling me they don’t do quotes. You drop off your car, they take it apart and call you when the work is done. I tried explaining that’s not how it worked two years ago when I dropped off my jeep. I was able to get a quote prior to dropping my car off for some undetermined amount of time. At that point he told me to have a nice day and hung up. I was calm. Didn’t use profanity. I was simply expressing my confusion with their process of dropping a car off, not having any idea of when you’d get it back. The previous three times I used Leif’s went fine. I knew how long they’d have the car before I dropped it off. It’s unfortunate I won’t be able to use them again, but hanging up on a customer….who does that?

Quite literally the worst experience I’ve ever had. Not because my car was totaled. My insurance was amazing. This company is the ABSOLUTE WORST. The woman at the front desk, Tory, was one of the most unsympathetic, rude humans I have ever spoke to. Ben, wasn’t much better. You guys deal with people on the daily that are going through one of the most stressful times in their life, the least you could do is be nice, polite, and respond to them in a timely manor. On top of all that, the refusal to communicate with my insurance company baffles me.I will never again do business here. And will make sure everyone know how terrible this place is.

Customer service is awful. Would not ever return- doesn't matter how good my car looks. Rude. No empathy whatsoever.
