Absolutely Filthy environment, smells like rotten fruit, everything is so jam packed everywhere you can't even walk down an aisle without looking down otherwise you'll probably trip on something.

The most authentic food from Michoacán in the area. They have a good variety of Mexican and Central American groceries and other items like cups, bags, candies, meats, vegetables/fruits (not very fresh), bread, ice cream, chips, etc. but the highlight of this store is their freshly made food. Omg! The corn tamales, the tacos, the enchiladas!! Wow I could probably eat those enchiladas every single day. Never had I tried better enchiladas at any place in the US. The lady asked what I wanted in my enchiladas and went to the kitchen to make them right in front of me, she smothered the enchiladas with lettuce cream and cheese on top added 2 pieces of fried chicken and potatoes and carrots. My husband loves their tacos de buche and suadero with everything on it. Don’t make me say more, go try their food on the weekends!

I use to buy often but lately they give you less and charge the same. An example would be the menudo. 15$ for a large cup that has little meat(less then half the cup). I asked to be given a fair amount of meat they decided to add a piece of pigs feet in each of my cups menudo as their response. I use to purchase for my entire family now I suggest find a better spot that won't jip you.

My husband and I wandered into this place almost two years ago after visiting the farmer market. We can't stay away! The couple that run it are always very friendly and happy. They have a great variety of goods and on the weekends they open their kitchen. If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place to be! Their tamales are great and the tacos are even better. Each taco is only $2. The first time we ate there, I had dreams about the tacos. The Al Pastor is hands down my favorite. Many places are hit or miss and this one is a hit. The gentleman is always so proud of it too. It was why I tried it in the first place!
