I love shopping here for beautiful clothes and accessories! You can also look at their sale area for a deal. Couple times a year they will have additional 30 or 50% off sale on sale.

My mom got me hooked on Johnny Was in Maui. I was happy that there is a location in Oregon! Even though it took me an hour to drive there, it's well worth it. All the ladies and a gentleman was beyond professional. If you can't find an item in your size, they will go to their stockroom and find it. I love the store layout. Whenever I see something online, I would go over to Bridgeport Village and try it on. The items you see online doesn't show justice of the quality until you actually see it in person. That's where I get into trouble, lol. If this store location doesn't have what you're looking for, they will call other stores and order it for you. I love that! ❤️

Beautiful artisan clothing with luxury fabrics and details like embroidery and beads adorn this shop. I was excited to see a location near me after always going to the one in downtown Bellevue in Washington. The prints and patterns are carefully chosen and asethically pleasing but with a steep price of course, definately more of a splurge spot for me. The blouses, dresses, jackets, scarves are all of the finest quality and they have a variety of designs to choose from. Its a boutique so the pieces are definately unique and not something you would find anywhere else. Mostly everything is made in India but way over priced in my opinion. Good location to check out and staff was helpful and can order other sizes if they dont have in store.

Terrible customer service. I like the blanket and wanted to exchange it for a different pattern but I have not heard back from the company despite two phone calls and emails. Very disappointing. Would not recommend this business. 2 stars because the blanket is nice. Just impossible to reach anyone if you want to return or exchange anything.

Finally a Portland location! In the past, I drooled over the catalogue and would visit stores when I was in Palm Desert and other parts of California. The boho patterns, prints, embroidery and flowing styles speak to me! The clothes are made well and carry a high price tag but you only need a few signature pieces. during Covid, I treasured my Johnny Was silk face masks, the vibrant floral patterns against black background, made in silk, were fashionable and comfortable. This new location in Bridgeport Village is a destination! The store is lovely, everything arranged and displayed beautifully. It's fun to see, touch and try on the clothes and accessories. Wonderful customer service To match the clothing. If they don't have your specific size, they will order for you.

Johnny Was is a California based company that has been in business for 30 years. They carry colorful, bohemian style ladies clothes and accessories in addition to beautiful blankets. Their signature embroideries are lovely and their prints are works of art. Every item they carry has a feminine appeal along with a high end price. When I visited the store today I was greeted by a nice gentleman who offered assistance and answered all my questions. He told me that they only show two sizes of an item on the salesfloor but have more sizes available in the stockroom. He was cheerful and pleasant. The clothes I saw here were all very pretty with beautiful vibrant colors, many in gorgeous prints. Each item seems like a treasured piece of art with a matching price tag, which is the only negative. I imagine it would be fabulous to own any item sold at Johnny Was.
