Tasneem Danka was completely disorganized and quit rude throughout this tax season. She speaks over people and inputs incorrect information, and acts offended when you ask her to correct it. This year we have been jumping through hoops to get our refund since she incorrectly marked our bank account as a checking, when it was a savings. Small mistakes cause big problems, and somebody with “11 years experience” should be a bit more meticulous. She told us our payment for H&R Block would be pulled from our return and that we were all set to go, sent us on our way, then called at 7am the next morning yelling over that phone that our return was waiting to be filed because we walked out without paying. I went into the branch to attempt to clarify the situation and she began gaslighting me into believing she never told us the fees we owed would be pulled from our return. I ended up paying and while I was there I told her she had checked the wrong box as to what type of bank account we were using, and she said everything should be just fine and it wouldn’t cause an issue. She couldn’t have been more wrong. She’s completely unprofessional, and has one hell of a jaded attitude. Never will I return to H&R Block, they charge triple the price any online tax systems do and staff their locations with rude inconsiderate people.

I felt comfortable communicating with the person doing my taxes. The tax preparer was very knowledgeable, quick, and efficient.

If I could I wouldn't have even put one start h&r block sucks, can't cash there checks anywhere and of course they say there nothing they can do. H&R is the worst

Unorganized & big lack of communication. Our appt was for 2:30 and we weren’t seen for 40 minutes. Then when we started, my taxes weren’t ready (even though I called ahead because I hadn’t heard back, and they say they were ready to sign) and the “preparer” took 20 minutes in front of me just copying & pasting. Something I literally have done myself on TurboTax for ALOT cheaper. She then charged me $385 for her time and preparation.My partner was also told he couldn’t claim any work expenses, which I find untrue, and that he was just out of luck on those expenses. Awful experience, won’t ever recommend, sticking with TurboTax.

Gave me a price and after taxs was done it was double. Went to another HR block and the price was half the cost of the Tigard location.

I have a worst experience with Tasneem Danka today. I already scheduled appointment at 3pm but I still have to wait 40’. She not even say sorry or anything for letting us wait 40’. She didn’t even look at my tax return on 2021 and assume that IRS always correct. She also said HR Block online tax pro is cheap and always make mistakes. When she heard I said I file with HR Block online , she said she couldn’t help, couldn’t do anything but then she said if I pay $70-100 then she can look to see . I didn’t even ask for free check or anything but this is very unprofessional and bad bad bad service ever. As a tax analyst, she should not say anything until she looks carefully to paperwork (tax return). When I asked about HR block online phone so I can contact them, she said she don’t know. The gentleman next window came and gave us the number. She seems don’t want to help or do anything at the beginning and try to give us hard time. She is very racist and unprofessional. The receptionist is very nice, she kept asking Danka how long more do we have to wait while Danka didn’t care about us at all. The gentleman who gave us HR block online support is very nice too.

Horrible unorganized branch with no communication internally or with clients. Staff is polite but I am wildly unsatisfied with my service, my fees, and how my appointments were handled over the phone.I am never EVER returning to this branch. Very unsatisfied.

My tax preparer Nuri, was very friendly and fun. She made sure to explain every step we took. She got me a huge refund as well as prepared me for next year. I highly recommend this tax office for anyone.

Submitted our tax paperwork before the April 15th deadline and our taxes were not done until September. Filing our taxes sooner would have been cheaper.HR Block has our hard copies (hopefully) and did not communicate in any form whatsoever so that we may retrieve our hard copies before closing the business. We still do not have them and hr block is obviously not in a rush to help paying customers especially with sensitive documents despite our communication with them.We completed our taxes at this office where the supervisor is not well versed on how paying taxes works. If making under a certain monetary amount it does not need to be reported. Instead of speaking with us after we filed our taxes they hid away "in a meeting" and no call back at least.The tax professionals knowing more than the supervisor is concerning and the tax professional even saved us some money on the filing fee.We have been customers to hr block for years but it seems loyalty runs out for some and it does not matter anymore.No need to blame anyone, anything, or higher power for our mishaps when we don't even care ourselves to help each other out.

This is by far the worst place and most un-professional office I’ve been too. Save your time and money. Tasneem Danka incorrectly filed my taxes and when I finally got her on the phone she advised me I needed to call the IRS and stop wasting her time then ended the call. I have never had any issues with my taxes before. I will never file thru them again and have filed a claim. Their manager Daniel also advised he was not legally certified to discuss taxes so could not assist.

This has been the worst experience of my life.I made an appointment for a document drop off on 02/28, scanned all my docs in.. then nobody contacted me for 2 weeks, even after I messaged through MyBlock 3 times to ask the status. Finally got a call from the Beaverton office tax pro, then another call from the Tigard office tax pro, asking my to upload my documents.. they had lost my documents? Impossible, I told them they were uploaded and to find them. Finally found them, and did it in one day.The tax pro then called me to go over the items, asked if I wanted "Piece of Mind (POM) for an additional fee, I said yes, and said it would cost $345.. Excuse me? For you losing my taxes for 2.5 weeks?! That is an absurd price. Additionally these are pretty simple taxes, two full time workers (one job each), a child, house, child care tax, and stimulus. We only went this route because we are both slammed with work and no child care and needed help. We also somehow messed up last year on our return and decided to seek help- thinking H&R Block would be painless.I was not happy, and worse the Tax Pro took no responsibility for her offices mishap, basically telling me she did her job and got our taxes done in one day, and I said, yes, after losing them for 2.5 weeks, so why am I paying $345 for this service? She talked over me, talked fast, made assumptions that I had not uploaded my docs correctly, that info was missing. It was horrible, all the while saying that she did her job - and did my taxes once she got them. W.O.W.I told her I would review them.. I signed in to MyBlock, the system prompted asking if I wanted POM, well I don't if my taxes are over $300, so I declined, which then said I REJECTED my tax return. I messaged her to please resend without POM. No answer for 3 days, called the office and nobody could help, got her to call, and finally got her to resend. Signed back in to pay and sign, and the taxes are not visible. Called and she said I'm not supposed to hit upload.. I told her I had done anything! I just signed it and they are not there.. again blaming me? Finally she logged in and said she could also not see them, didn't know why, and would had to have IT look into it.Well today is 03/29 and I still have not signed or filed...I am so disappointed and frustrated with this service that I will be paying over $300 for a simple tax return!? They have no customer service, and the branch manger has not called to go over the issue or even reached out to apologize for the mess. How is this acceptable?
