My husband and I wanted to turn a spare bedroom into a shared office/library space. After checking Yelp, we contacted Harris WorkSystems, a woman-owned and operated business located right here in Tigard. The website is easy to navigate and the actual showroom is very impressive. We made an appointment with Space Planner, Nate and he came out to our home to take measurements of our actual space and to give us some ideas on how to configure the space we could comfortably share. He drew up a schematic with suggestions for length of counters, the height, where to place file drawers, and a storage tower we had our eye on. We chose a light colored laminate with black accents and drawer pulls. We also added an extra rolling file cabinet for my husband's side. There was a bit of a glitch when the installers came out the first time as a counter was too long on one side of the room and had to be cut down, adding about 3 weeks to the completion time. It was a bit frustrating to wait so long but we understood. After the initial installation, we decided to add extra shelves in the storage tower and add another locking 3-file drawer unit to my side. Since all of the furniture is custom made, it was another few weeks of waiting. Add to that Harris WorkSystems being short-staffed and issues with the supply chain, we remained patient and knew it would all work out. Communication and updates from Nate during this time was a tad unsatisfactory but we are very happy with the end result. Exceptional quality and within budget.We highly recommend Harris Worksystems and are considering having them design a workspace for my home art studio next.

Beware the morals of this company. Several weeks ago their company car backed into my stopped car in a parking lot. We took each others info and moved on. Owner of the company called me and we discussed the incident. Driver had told him what happened, and we both agreed it was his fault. He wanted to pay for my damages, cash, without going through insurance. I'd already filed a claim and didn't feel comfortable going that route. NOW, the driver changes his story to insurance and the owner is backing this. Like I started this reveiw, I can't comment on the quality of the company, but I can attest to my first hand experience. You be the judge.

This place isn't for the individual. Sure you can buy 1 chair for them but their main clients are businesses ordering lots of chairs. When I showed up they had me waiting almost 10 minutes to speak to a sales rep. They have custom options but you have to order stuff. This isn't a walk in and buy a chair type of place. And the pricing is available only by quote. I don't think they like men either just the vibes I get from the signage in their lobby.

I purchased the best laptop holder of all time. This requires you to sit straight, camera at eye level, and external keyboard so your not hunched over the tiny keyboard. For a traveling gig worker the is awesome. The owner is super nice and helpful, her passion for comfortable workspace is obvious in all she does. The value you will receive is 10x what you will get online. I would not get my haircut online and now i will not get office space online.

After putting up with an old, used office chair and fold out table, I invested in the good stuff from Harris. Wow! well-built, beautiful and I can work without discomfort.The installer was great....didn't just setup my desk and two chairs. He fitted us to each one...every adjustment.....and I know it made a huge difference on comfort vs if I tried to do it on my own. His knowledge and skill really made the furniture better.I put up with a lot for much too long with my old setup and am so glad I went with Harris.

I was horrified by what I saw!!!! I was getting ready to go into the store when I saw an individual storm out of the business and started berating 2 Deputies that accidentally park in his spot! I was with my young daughter and heard him yell the most disgusting obscenities at these hard working Deputies! They were extremely Apologetic and stated that they just stopped by to get their uniforms. They said that they would move their vehicle immediately. The individual that came out kept cursing at them as they apologized!!!! I was so disgusted with his behavior and will never go to this place!!!!!! #BacktheBlue

If you are planning at shopping at Harris Work Systems and after you patron his neighbor's business, be prepared to be cursed, yelled at and have your car threatened to be towed. Even after apologizing for parking in a unreadable faded parking spot claimed by his business, his hostility and anger only grew. So we decided to take our business to Office Furniture Reborn.

Staff was less than accommodating while I was inquiring about supplies for my business. Very short and snappy with answers to my questions. I was getting prices from a few local businesses and this WILL NOT be one of them. Don't waste your time with these unprofessional individuals.

I was driving a large commercial vehicle when I needed to stop into a neighboring business that shares a parking lot before going over to Harris WorkSystems to get a quote on some office furniture. I parked the vehicle in a spot in the corner of the lot that was tucked out of the way and wouldn't impede other customers from parking safely. I left to put some purchased items into my truck before going into HWS. It was brought to my attention by a Harris WorkSystems employee, who started shouting at me once I left the neighboring business, that we were parked in a spot reserved for Harris WorkSystems. I immediately apologized but he shouted over me, using profanities, before I could explain to him that we were going to be visiting his business next. Needless to say I chose to take my business elsewhere. Be VERY careful to use their parking spots only if you intent on going into their business FIRST unless you enjoy being berated and verbally abused.

Being an office owner in Oregon, I had the great honor of helping me set up my office. They did a superb job of responding to my requests to set of four work stations for my officemates. Brought up all the furniture to my location without stress. Assembly was done super fast. I bought my office space unfurnished which was no longer a hassle thanks to these guys. Startups, small, medium and large business, they do it all. I love how they are so quick when I first bought my office in Tualatin. First one person picked up the phone then another person nearby was writing down my needs. I love the tables you guys have. It not only fits my budget but is the most modern I can get. If you work at home, choose these guys. They do a good job of making your laptop area like it is a real live office building. Sooo, happy I took the time to check out this inventory clearance yesterday!! After months of balancing on dining chair cushions on an old steno chair, I'm excited to tackle the day in my new fully loaded chair from Harris WorkSystems at a fraction of the cost of a custom order! I simply called, made my appointment, and was expertly fitted and on my way home with my new chair! As I sit here writing my post, my back already thanks Colleen R. I recently stopped by to look at sneeze guards for my business, and I heard many great things about their showroom so I asked for a tour. Colleen showed me a huge variety of products that they carry including a very impressive selection of high quality office chairs. She invited me to sit in a few, and I was so impressed with that chair I bought one on the spot! I honestly did not think I needed a new chair, but now since I have it I am so amazed at the difference a high-quality chair can make to how I feel both during the day and after a long day at my desk. I have also purchased several bar height work stools that we use out in the shop and they have all held up very well. Harris WorkSystems makes it so easy and continues to be my go-to place for any office furniture needs.

Harris WorkSystems provides high quality ergonomic furniture that really works! Their ergonomic expert knows exactly how to adjust office chairs and desk tops to fit the individual. He has supplied my work place with ergonomic chairs and desk tops for years. Case in point-for several months, I had been experiencing hip pain due to a recent accident. He came in and adjusted the tilt of the seat of my chair. A few days later, I noticed that the pain was gone! (And it hasn't come back.)Harris also offers home-office furniture-it's beautiful. My son just purchased a chair for his home office and he's very happy with it. Wonderful products and wonderful folks.
