I refuse to go back there. Not pumping my own gas, when the prices don't reflect it

What can I say? It's a gas station! Haha They do a good gas business, LOL. I like that we don't have to pump our own gas.

Management is racist and tends to speak his mind too much as if he has any room to talk about when it comes racial groups. I'm Hispanic and I only worked there for a week and "Walt" the manager had the audacity to state " I think all foreigners who come to America and use our service, need to know English"......! This is management for the chevron location off of Tigard. Ryan is the district manager and I already spoke to him and there is an investigation being conducted, that is poor attitude from a manager whose in charge of running a business and a team.

I highly recommend against this place after my experience with management here today.I am a customer that have been coming here on a weekly basis for the last 2 years.Today I came to fill up, and have been served by a new employee. The gentleman has made an mistake and filled up my car on 87 Octane Regular when it strictly needs 92 pump premium fuel. My car is a 2005 Acura TL and these runs with aggressive ignition timing, and it really needs that octane to avoid preignition. The attendant was very apologetic and was willing to pay out of his own pocket to add a bottle of octane booster to my full tank. I respectfully declined because I'm not a believer of such product, and I was forwarded to the district manager.I spoke with the district manager, and she proposed the same thing, and refused to refund me the amount that I was charged to put the wrong fuel in the car. She claims the management above her would not allow her to refund my money.I am profoundly disappointed in management, and not the employee who has made an honest mistake here, and tried everything to set this situation right even at the expense out of his own pocket.I will not be coming here again, and I will be taking my business elsewhere for fuel.

I had a very poor experience at this station this morning. Attendant didn't come out right away, which is fine. I understand people have bathroom breaks and can't always run out right away. I had my dog (who sometimes gets freaked out when strangers approach) in the car so I got out and opened my fuel door and removed the cap. Since the pandemic started I don't really like strangers handling my credit card if it can be avoided. I scanned my card and was waiting for the attendant. I did NOT pick up the pump or choose the octane. I didn't even touch any of the buttons. The only thing I touched was my card and my car's fuel door and cap. He came out and started preaching to me that I can't do that. I let him know that I just scanned the card. He then cancelled that and asked me for my card. I shook that off and said to him that I'd like to put the credit card in the machine. He told me that was against the law even though other fuel stations have been letting people do that since COVID. He refused. I asked him to step away from my car. I put the fuel cap back on and then he started lecturing me and telling me that I had an attitude. He came off as someone on a power trip and was very petty. I got back in my car and drove away with the fuel light on. I think it's pathetic that someone whose job wouldn't exist in 48 other states has to come out and start yelling at someone at 6:30 in the morning when I was just trying to speed up the process so I could get to work and have minimal contact with someone who may/may not have been vaccinated.
