I used to live in Tigard for years and drove past Broadway Furniture all the time. I recently moved to downtown Portland. Recently my bed has become very uncomfortable. I bought an expensive mattress somewhere else and got home to only realize it wasn't the mattress. I have old injuries and my body needs a comfortable, to me, sleep setup. I tried researching my options and finally decided to shop options for a new bedroom set today. Ken happened to be walking out as I got out of my car and immediately was there to help. I explained my situation and showed him photos. He had me come inside and shared some general education about bed setups and mattresses. He gave me a plan to fix my current bed and never tried to sell me anything. I'm also a small business owner and exhausted with not sleeping well. I am so incredibly grateful for his kindness! I'm crossing my fingers his solutions work and if not I'll happily be back in! There was a reason I chose to drive from downtown Portland to Tigard, it's for genuine kindness, compassion and integrity in small businesses. Thank you Ken, you are such a kind soul!

I have purchased two sofas from Broadway Furniture since I moved here a couple years ago. My first experience at the store was great, Jerry sold me a "click clack" sofa, the kind that converts to a bed. It's great quality and very comfortable, perfect for what I needed it for, and was available for immediate delivery. More recently I shopped around a bit more at other stores for another sofa, but I ended up back at Broadway. I bought an L shaped Jonathan Louis sofa. I can't recall the sales person's name but he was very helpful and patient as I selected the fabrics for the sofa and pillows.They said 10-12 weeks but I got this sofa in 8 weeks. Nice!The delivery guys were great, they put the sofa together and placed where I wanted it. Prices are fair, furniture is quality, service, sales, and delivery all 5 stars. Thank you!

After ordering a couch from Pacific Lifestyle, who scammed us, along with many others, took our money, and left us with no couch, we went to Broadway Furniture to see if they could help us out. Luckily, they were also a dealer for the manufacturer of the couch we had originally bought.They worked with us and the manufacturer to get us the same exact couch we had picked out at the other place. After waiting 10-12 weeks, our couch arrived!Delivery was great - the guys took care in bringing it through the door without damaging the house or the couch, and they took the time to place the couch exactly how we wanted it.Thanks to Broadway Furniture for helping us out in a bind and coming through for us, and I'm sure for many others who got scammed by that other place.

I was in the market for a new sofa and was torn between a leather sofa at Macy's and a leather sofa at Broadway furniture. The leather sofa at Macy's had a mechanical function and the leather was a little bit softer but for the same price I was able to get a sofa and chair that were modern which was a look I was going for. I purchased the extended warranty and on first blush I was pleased with the furniture. In about a month and a half I noticed it was not wearing very well and made several comments about it to family and friends. I have now owned the furniture for a little over a year and come to find out that despite the representation of being leather that the truth is only portions of the sofa are leather and there are large portions that are vinyl. I'm a cultured individual I'm surprised at how well that vinyl was disguised and I'm disgusted with a company for telling me that it was leather and upon finding out it was vinyl calling them and they completely backtracked on what they said when I purchased it. I now have cracks in the vinyl and I've been trying to get it fixed for three months for some strange reason they don't want me to use the extended warranty which is an avenue I haven't even walked down yet but i've been told it is good for only one cataclysmic repair for example the sofa burns or somebody takes a knife to a bunch of the cushions and it would only be good for that one use. I was told not to use it and to save it. Information I find completely outside of the norm and if indeed it is true then wow- if it is not true then what do they have to hide with the extended warranty company I'm going to be researching that in the next couple of days. In the meantime rather than having the warranty company cover the problem, instead they've been insisting that I wait and they will have somebody come out and expertly repair the damaged areas. I have given them three months now to empty promises no return calls no information as stated- nothing. Today I called and simply asked to speak to the owner I told the sales lady that I spoke to that there was no need for the manager for anybody else to call me back as I was done messing with them. Well as you can imagine the manager called me back and echoed the words at the sales lady told me five minutes earlier after he heard my voice. I told him I didn't want to speak to him. He said that the only reason he was calling me back was to inform me that the owner was abroad and would not be back for a week and a half. "Well thank you so much for that information sir I understood it the first time it was shared with me and what an amazing job you did getting back to me -it's a shame you don't get back to me this way when I'm telling you I've got damaged/faulty furniture that isn't what you said it was when you sold it to me." I do not recommend this company.

Great experience! I visited Broadway after two bad experiences at furniture stores. The salesperson, Jerry, was very nice and down to earth. He was patient with me as I browsed and took his time. He was able to show me the things I told him I was looking for and there was plenty of options. The furniture was delivered less than a week later. Both delivery people, one Greg and I didn't catch the others name but they were very professional and super helpful. They put all the furniture where I pointed out and made adjustments. I'll definitely come back when I need more furniture and would recommend to anyone!

We had been looking for a sofa for nearly a month. We decided to head outside of Portland on a Thursday, and Broadway Furniture was our first stop. I looked around for a bit and fell in love with this sofa as soon as I saw it. Our salesperson, Joel, was amazing. We went to get a bite to eat & discuss it. We figured we would sleep on it but after our meal, we didn't want to risk it being gone. We went back and said we'll take it! While waiting for Joel to finish up w/ other customers, we walked around and that's when I spotted the coolest monkey ever. I immediately knew he would make a perfect vibe guardian. I named him Sergio and announced he shall be ours.We were able to get delivery set for mid-day the following Tuesday. When Evan and Daniel arrived, I quickly learned a lesson. While I had measured for the fit in my living room, I neglected to measure for fit in the elevator or stairwell, as well as through my front door. There were a number of uncertain assessments followed my absolutely masterful work by the guys. They literally turned the impossible into the possible without ever rubbing an inch of the couch on anything but the floor they placed it on in my living room. These guys are just plain miracle workers! But don't expect them to do the impossible: measure everything they will need to maneuver through!
