Extremely frustrating experience and awful product with Bark Blowers. Ordered "engineered wood fiber" as they market it as a great playground ground cover. After carefully checking out their pictures online (as I HATE splintery bark dust, esp in my backyard) we ordered a whopping 5 yards for our play area. What arrived was a shredded, slivery, dusty MESS. After taking a picture and comparing it to their product photos online, it perfectly resembled one of their garden mulch products. I called and the person actually agreed it looked like the mulch but assured me it was not (she was actually very nice which is why i am giving 2 stars) and was told over and over "organic materials can vary in appearance". I get that except this looked absolutely nothing like what they advertise online and is nothing anyone should put where their kids play. Now I get the joy of watching my kids inhale splinter dust and picking them out of their feet every night!
After spending hundreds initially we were encouraged to order a different product for hundreds more dollars but they'd waive the delivery fee :/ no thank you

I am really disappointed in the tone and tenor of the person who helped me today.
Our family have been bark blowers customers for almost 15 years and I've never had a bad experience until this morning.
We will definitely be looking at other options before coming back here - there is no need to be rude and unkind.

Good service. The garden mix/brahma mix though is terrible. My veggies were stunted. Checked the soil and almost no nitrogen.

I live in Portland & last week I called Bark Blowers in Tigard. I spoke to Michelle who was very personable, kind, & helpful in deciding the quantity of cedar chips I needed for my side yard/play structure project. I then ordered for delivery & blowing in of the material. Darrel & Pedro arrived when scheduled & on time, to blow in the material. I couldn't have asked for a more friendly, personable, & respectful crew. They took the extra time to avoid blowing material into my flower beds that surrounded my cedar chip area. I couldn't believe such employees even existed anymore. Thank you Bark Blowers for employing such great employees inside & outside the office. I'd use then again in a heartbeat!

I had Bark Blowers out mid-summer to blow bark in a large area and then left on vacation. My gardner noticed a problem in an area that wasn’t covered as we agreed. Michelle in the office, the owner Ashley and the delivery manager of the new bark, Scott were all fabulous and you could tell they really wanted to solve my issue. You don’t get that kind of service and closure much in todays post pandemic environment.

We loved what they did on the neighbor yard. So we contracted them yesterday and really impressed by Scott, Pedro, and Darrell for their walking through the scope of work, their cohesive team work in getting the job done and minimizing any debris on the koi pond. Fantastic job and will hire them again.

Bark Blowers came out today and did an amazing job. The crew was super friendly, very professional, and did fantastic work. They did exactly what we were looking for, got the job done in less time than expected, and cleaned everything up afterwards. Will definitely be working with them again next year.

these guys did such an amazing job! Friendly, fast, communicative... They helped fix the landscaping mess made by a prior contractor. I couldn't be happier with this company!

We had medium fresh hemlock blown into our yard, today. Scott and Triston did an excellent job following instructions, installing with professional skill, and then followed up with exemplary clean-up.

Scott and Pedro from Bark Blowers arrived on time today, early even, and finished the work in a couple of hours. My estimate on the amount of mulch needed was off... by half! LOL. Fortunately they had enough mulch in their huge truck to cover our needs. Scott and Pedro really did a nice job! They took care of our plants and when they were done, cleaned everything off! The place looks like new! I will use these guys again the next time we need to mulch! Thanks guys!
