This review is years overdue if I'm honest. I've never had a bad experience at this shop. Right now I'm having some self induced issues, called them up and they told me to stop on by. They're currently inspecting my phase 4 for any potential issues cause by a mishap that was easily avoidable on my part and I couldn't be more grateful for their welcoming open doors.
Not to mention I had some fitment issues with a sight I purchased from them, by no means their fault, just proprietary systems function best with proprietary equipment. They accepted the return with no questions asked, and even offered some help and advice to solve the issue. But after looking everything over we came to the same conclusion at the end of it.
Excellent shop! Knowledgeable staff. And always willing to help.
They will be my first stop from now on for anything archery.

Looking to buy a bow. This is the place, go see Bob!!! Walked in talked to him for a little while, he set up 4 different bows for me to try. Spent several hours shooting different ones. During this time he even set up on for my son to try. All staff very customer friendly and knowledgeable. Purchase my first compound bow. Since then I have gone back and Bob worked with me giving me different tips for shooting better.

My friend and I watched archery in the paralympics and decided we wanted to try it, so I found the adult class at Archers Afield and signed up. We had such an amazing time. Brandon was a fantastic teacher and let us stay a little longer to get the full experience since there was a very large class. We both hit several bullseyes with his individualized instructions and both plan on returning for more classes and range time!

First time buying a compound bow. Walked in and Bob and Allen were extremely helpful. They let me shoot multiple high end compound bows all adjusted for my specifications. I ended up going with the hoyt alpha x 33. They got my bow all adjusted with new accessories and then got some training on how to shoot it right. Definitely will be using them again.

Fantastic job helping me figure out new arrows to buy based off of my old ones (even when I’m not even in the same state!). Very responsive and kind through the whole process and the arrows I received are magnificent! Second time I’ve bought from them and I’m sure there’ll be a third!

I've been shopping and shooting at Archer's Afield for over 10 years. I bought all of my bows and all of my Son's bows (and accessories) there. I can honestly say that in all that time, they have never been anything but friendly, helpful, and affordable. If you're looking to try archery for the first time, or a veteran like myself you can't go wrong with Archer's Afield.

Took my bow in for a tune just before turkey season. It didn't need much to get it straight again. It only had a slight tail left tear. Yet they moved my rest way out of wack, messed with my cams, and couldnt get my bow shooting a bullet hole. After about an hour or so i just decided it wasnt worth the time and told him to stop. They charged me $60 to mess up my bow. To the point where my rest was catching on the arrow shelf. I took my bow to my home shop G4 and they were able to get it shooting straight with a bullet hole in five minutes. They were appalled that I had paid so much for such lack luster work and ended up not charging me a dime to fix it all. Take note, just because a shop sells bows this does not mean they know how to work on them. If you can afford the drive, go to a reputable shop like g4 or the bow rack. Otherwise you may actually spend money to have someone screw up your bow. I will never let anyone from this shop work on my bow again.

I bought one Groupon for five people for a 30- minute lesson and 60-minutes of shooting as a Christmas gift to family. Since so many family members were interested, I ended up buying a second time slot for at full price. We were supposed to have two separate time slots, but I was called about a week before because they needed to combine the two groups. Worked out great! All ten shooters got to see everyone else shoot, and be all together. There were three of us that planned on watching due to numbers, as we actually had a total of 13 family members, but because 3 individuals needed a few breaks, one of the watchers was also able to get in some quality shooting time. That was even our instructor’s suggestion! Brandon was incredibly good at teaching. He was also extremely patient with our young, middle-aged, to one senior wild bunch. I was the photographer, and I think I had as much if not more fun than everyone else. Such a cool place!
