Really wanted to rate this higher. The first couple of times I brought them my car, they were super helpful and did good work for a good price. But recently they've been extremely difficult to get a hold of. They no longer accept walk-ins, only appointments, which would be fine if their current phone number worked. It doesn't, which seems like a bit of a catch-22. Their website is also pretty much useless. So unless you already have an appointment or the personal number for one of their mechanics, you're out of luck.

I had a great experience with Alpina. Aaron squeezed me in and replaced my O2 sensor (P0036). He also spent time checking other issues and gave recommendations without extra charge. I would take my car there again in a heart beat! Thanks Aaron!

I was driving from L.A. to the Seattle metro in a relative's car and hit a part of a truck tire between Sacramento and Lake Shasta. At the time I did not see any damage. But the next day when I parked at a Lake Oswego grocery store a stream of liquid started pouring out of the bottom of the chassis. I thought the liquid might be water but before I drove another hundred-thirty-something miles I thought I'd get an opinion from a pro. So I searched nearby mechanics and stopped in at Alpina Automotive LLC and Aaron kindly took a quick break from his big jobs to look at my engine and determined that the fluid leakage was indeed normal water from the AC. Since this was not my regular car I had not seen water leak out at such a rate so the cause must have been the angle I had parked at earlier. In addition he checked the oil and even the wiper fluid and said they looked OK. Aaron's thoroughness in ensuring that my engine and chassis were in excellent shape gave me improved confidence in my vehicle during my journey north and then back to L.A.

Phone # does not work. Cannot make an appointment and they do no answer an. Email. Up until then I really had confidence in them. Colton a nice guy but needs help. More mechanics needed.

Called to get the quote and parts options for $3000+ job on my bmw. Promised to call back by the end of the day. After not hearing back for the next couple days, called again and instead of giving me the quote I asked for, the answer was “we won’t have time for the following month for the job like this”. Really?? Even if you booked out for month, should at least give me the quote and the first available date when you can do it, instead of just rejecting $3000-4000 job like this. Not sure what was the reason for that. Guess if they not interested in getting those money, I’ll take it to another shop

No need to visit the dealership…!!! This is the only place in Portland that I trust when it comes to maintenance and repairs for my BMW…!!! Prices are fair, and the quality of work is phenomenal…!!! Knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to diagnosing any problems that you may have with your vehicle…!!! Highly recommended…!!!

Quick to make me an appointment and knowledgeable, direct, and professional service. Have so far completed two oil changes on my Supra. It’s new so no other issues with it yet. Thankful that they were willing to accept the challenge!

Completed routine service on my 2019 BMW 540i promptly, charging a fair price. They were also able to clear the obnoxious "emergency call system malfunction" message programmed by BMW to solicit subscriptions for roadside assistance and identified a cracked drivetrain part that will need to be serviced soon. Aaron (owner/mechanic) and Colton (service advisor) struck me as knowledgeable and trustworthy, and I will definitely be back for future service.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement
