Excellent finds as I furnished my new home. Found the perfect china cabinets and St Vinny's delivers, at a reasonable rate. Must say that the folks who work there also make the visits a treat!

St. Vinnies makes money hand over fist in their thrift stores, but I wish there were a way to make them treat their customers more kindly. The last few times I went in this store, I got nasty stares from their employees. I asked an employee if an item was still on sale while I was waiting for the store to open, and they said ', I'm kind of busy right now,' in the rudest tone humanly possible then went around the corner to smoke a cigarette. When I checked out, the newish employee acted like I shouldn't even be allowed to exist and that is was a privilege that I should be allowed to buy anything in their store. I remember around ten years ago, in one of their now closed stores, I asked one of the former store managers to exchange an item I found was counterfeit. He came very close to not doing it but gave in, and said disgustingly ',this is a charity.' It's a charity, and at that point I had already been shopping in their stores for ten years spending tons of money, so treat the custom right if you ever want him/her to come back because afterall ',it's a charity.'

When books are sold with special prices they should make it more clear. They have a lot if used books with old stickers from ither stores on them how can customers know if that price is their "individually priced" price or their normal pricing? Very over priced location as others have said as well. Avoid the Q street st vinnies

I think it’s funny how I’ve read so many reviews where the employees accuse the customer of switching tags. I had the same thing happen to me and it was absolutely embarrassing being called out in line when I haven’t done anything wrong.Besides that, the prices are absurd and the employees all follow you around thinking you’re going to steal their over priced items. By far this has been the worst location I’ve been to. Do better.

This location has very unfriendly staff. While browsing, expect staff to invade your space multiple times to place things on shelves or racks without a simple "excuse me" or cough to announce their presence. Price tags mean nothing so expect your decently priced USED item's tag to be changed at checkout with sublte accusations that you switched the price yourself. If you need to return something (for store credit), expect more accusations that you stole the item. I've worked retail for many years and I know how it burns your soul alive but holy hell I feel like I'm in a simulation everytime I go there.

If the price is too good according to the cashier they'll allege you switched the tags and change the price at the register. Beyond offensive , unprofessional and illegal. Check the tapes Karen, that indeed was the price tag.

I used to be a customer at this store for many many years and since the very first week it opened, but the cadre of workers has driven me from ever going back. I could write many instances about the culture of this organization denigrating their longtime loyal customers, but let's just take two. My brother was having health issues a few years ago, so I parked outside the front door for around a minute or so while he was checking out. One of the long-term employees who has ragged on me many times before, came out and threatened to call the police on me if I didn't immediately move. She must have been watching me the whole time I was in the parking lot to have reacted so quickly. I understand that technically I shouldn't have parked out front, but I think there are better ways of handling the problem than to just start threatening me immediately. The sad fact is, I don't think she was trying to fix the issue. She was trying to exert dominance and control over me like she has in many other issues over the years. When I'm in the stores, I never create any problems, so let's create some. Another, I was the first in line, and 20 minutes or more earlier than anyone else waiting outside the store for the change of a color tag so I could purchase some expensive speakers. When they opened the doors, I went straight for the speakers and was the first to ask to buy them, but because the manager who is currently at the store saw who I am one of the customers the organization profiles, she sold them to the other couple who was waiting in line after me for them. In what universe is the first person who asks to buy something with cash in hand not the one who gets to buy them. It just goes to show, they don't treat all customers equally.

The employees are JUST AS GREAT as the items they sell here: everything is either Cheap, too old to work, and/or a useless pain in your behind. This is by far the worst location in town. The items are about the same quality as the other st vinnies but this store's workers are by far the most unwelcoming and clearly don't care about being there. Don't waste your time or your money here.

Sells broken items and then doesn't want to refund my money way over priced tells me I can't get a refund because I lost me receipt but tells me I can donate the item back to them and get a 20% off coupon this place is a joke and I definitely won't be back

I went to find pink outfits for the Barbie movie with my daughter. There was a floppy pink hat, old lady sun hat style, not priced. We asked if he'd take $5 (same as the other hats) but he wanted $10. Ten bucks for a pink floppy hat no one is going to buy to wear every day lol, when a kid could enjoy it. He "went to ask the manager to see if they would go to $5" after he made up $10 and came back and "they" said $10. I don't believe anyone else was asked lol. Just like others are saying, just too overpriced now, once in a while you find what you need for an actual good price. The entire point in coming to your store sir, is to get a GOOD DEAL not pay THE SAME PRICE as in the store :)

Store was dirty, poorly organized and wildly expensive. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Serious price manipulation. Its in plain view lol. Lets price something worth $20 at $50 then put the %50 off code on it. Oh wow I just paid the price you wanted me to pay.
