Update 4 years later,Lou Harlen at selco insurance is very unreliable, he made it so stressful switching insurance to another insurance that he made it clear he would, but he kept telling me he forgot or did not know. When we moved from one town to the other we had a third vehicle that didn't have insurance and in order for us to drive it to the town we were moving to, we needed temporary insurance so I called Lou to find out how we can do about that, he said he would put insurance on the vehicle and when I no longer needed it to just call him to cancel that, When I called a couple weeks later to cancel the insurance on that vehicle his words to me was and I'm quoting what he said "I didn't know you wanted insurance on that vehicle"Just recently we were in the process of switching insurance who made it so difficult and so confusing.I went to lose supervisor Nick to try to resolve what was going on, I wasn't even angry I just wanted my insurance to be taken care of.Lou's supervisor Nick used bully tactics and threats. Lou and and Nick called my previous insurance after I told them to leave me alone and not make contact with me or any of my accounts.I have tried to remedy this with selco and selco will not give me the appropriate person to communicate with about this they said that they are not connected with the insurance part and the only person that we can communicate with about it would be Nick lous supervisor as he is the senior management there. We are moving all of our accounts from Selco because of this and many issues through the entire relationship.Selco is great with banking and that's it, so if you plan on doing any loans or insurance through them don't!Banking customer service is great! But Tina the loan officer in the Redmond branch changed our loan interest and payment, this is our second loan with selco.we signed at one rate but they changed it after the signatures were done and the loan was final, it had been a month into the loan when I saw that it was changed online, we never had a request to change the loan interest or payment amount. It's a good thing we paid over the amount since the amount went up $25(that can cost you to default)We called to speak with Tina, she was very rude, then said she would need to look at the loan and call back, she called back a few hours later and tried to convince us that's the way it's going to be, we disagreed and asked her how could she just change our fixed loan rates when she(Tina) signed with us at closing of the loan? She said again she would need to look at the loan and very rudely said she had other loans and we were not her only client, we asked to speak to her supervisor and she said she would call you back, very rudely again!! A day later still no return call, we left a message for her supervisor, nothing!!We absolutely love selco customer service for banking needs but Tina is very untruthful. We will never go through them for another loan, we are in the process of leaving to a different credit union because of this situation. It just would be nice for someone to call us regarding this and stop ignoring it.
