Poplar gym due to being the best quality to value gym in eugene/Springfield. Recommended trying this gym first if you are looking for a new spot.

Upon entering, this gym appears to be high quality. A generous amount of cardio equipment, several spacious areas with a lot of equipment, and side rooms for workout classes. However, after having been a member here for several years, there are a few areas that need improvement. For instance, the Matrix brand equipment is bottom of the barrel in terms of quality. The leg press and hack squats are not good or smooth machines and you have to fight against them to perform your lift. This leads to my second point: this gym desperately needs more plate loaded leg presses and another hack squat. For a gym as busy as this one is, there is simply not enough equipment to allow gym goers to perform their predetermined workout without having to deal with some sort of equipment bottleneck. The hamstring curl machine is not good either. If Pursue were to buy 4-5 more pieces of quality equipment, then it would boost my rating to 5 stars.

Love Pursue! No nonsense gym thats open 24 hours. It has everything I need for a good workout. I go late in the evening to avoid the crowds. People there are nice and keep to themselves. Respectful of your space.

Good Gym at a Good Cost, They Support the Silver Fitness Program and they have a Fitness Class Mon, Wed, Fri for Silver Fitness Fantastic Instructor. Lots of Equipment to Use And if your into Free Weights they have those too Clean Place, Staff are all friendly

The gym itself is great but DO NOT attend the 5:30 a.m. spin classes. Now, the instructor(s) are wonderful but the gym members in this class are BITTER COLD, mean and stuck up!! I've taught for many (over 20) years in the past and I have never met a worse group of ladies - If they arrive before you- they switch out their bad bike for your good bike, they talk crap behind your back, totally ignore you- if you move to a bike near them- they will move to another bike- they are absolutely evil- I've tried being nice, tried small talk, everything- This morning was the last straw- I made sure that the instructor knew that I wasn't leaving because of her- but I walked out of the class. I will not put up with this BS - I'd much rather just do it on my own then feel like this every spin class!! P.S. How do I know that they switch bikes?? I marked one with a red mark and it's always switched from my usual spot to the spot next to me. It's not good- please don't attend these classes!!!

I tried this gym out. Went twice at different times and couldn't finish a work out both times. It's so incredibly busy and the demographic of people that go seem to disregard anyone else by leaving weights out and on bars. I will say, the place is clean and they have a lot to offer but you'll have to wait to do anything. Not my style of gym.

Open 24/7! Relatively new equipment with lots of space for only $20/month. People here range from beginners to experienced people. Great clean environment.

I have been going to this gym for the last 6 months and really love this place. It is always clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have tons of equipment so I have never really had to wait for anything. All the people that use the gym all seem to be very nice and helpful. No attitudes here.

Excellent gym! They look out for their members in more ways than just having equipment available (which they do). Clean, Open, Friendly! And a very active environment! I music playing, bars clanking and the sound of people DOING WORK as you should when you're in a facility that is specifically built for people to do work in!I look forward to my training sessions, and the people I see there on the regular every day I'm there!

Such a great gym. Gets busy during certain hours but that's to be expected. Good diversity of machines, free weight, and cardio.

Good staff, love that they're open 24 hours, but it takes them weeks to clean their bathrooms. Things get left in the showers and they are there for weeks on end. The shower curtains get stiff and crusty. It looks like they never vacuum the locker room carpets. Honestly, if I didn't use them just to take showers because my home shower is down right now, I would never go there.

Employers specifically told a friend of mine they wouldn’t hire him for an assistant manager position due to him not being a woman or a person of color. They told him this after they told him he was completely qualified for the position as well. Pursue fitness does not resemble equal employment opportunity.
