“This is a great store and pharmacy. I'm writing this 5 star review after reading a bad review from someone who had 1 poor experience in their 2+ decades of shopping at this location. I'm sorry, but one bad experience in 20+ years does not warrant a bad review. After all, we're all human, and even staff members have hard days, just like anyone else. I've been coming to this store for many years. My experiences have mostly been good. Sure, sometimes I have to wait in line for a while, but the lines go much quicker than other local pharmacies. "Patience is a virtue."

My teenagers have been able to find Springfield High School merchandise at this location, which we found out part of the proceeds go to our local schools. How many stores do you know that care about local schools? Well, this one does! I'm very happy to keep shopping at Rite Aid on Marcola. I truly hope this one stays around for years to come.”

“Shopping at Walmart has been a consistently positive experience for me. Not only does this store offer a wide variety of products at great prices, but their selection of alcoholic beverages is particularly impressive. I've found that their alcohol section not only has a diverse range of options but also provides the convenience of a one-stop shopping experience. It's a fantastic place to explore different brands and indulge in quality beverages, all for free. Walmart's commitment to offering such a comprehensive selection has made it my go-to destination for satisfying my alcohol preferences while enjoying the convenience of a well-stocked store. Unlike walgreens in whom did not let me take my alcohol for free.”

“I was so appreciative of Judy in the pharmacy. My doctors office messed up and sent my prescriptions to three different pharmacies! Needless to say, it was a nightmare. By the time I got to Walmart I was sobbing. Judy was so compassionate. I had been on the phone trying to figure out how to get everything straightened out but my doctors office was closed that day. Judy let me know that she was going to get it all figured out and would make sure to put a rush on filling them. Just as promised, 20 minutes later I received a text letting me know my order was ready! I don’t know how she untangled the mess but she went above and beyond for me. Thank you, Judy!”

“Very helpful pharmacy. They answer the phone promptly, explain any delays, answered questions about where to request refills after a hospital stay. They even asked how my relative was doing when I went back the next week to pick up something else. Great service!”

“Of all the pharmacies in our area the CVS at target Gateway is the most honest and caring pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with the people seem to know you by name and treat you with respect and dignity”

“Needed a passport photo. Went to Walmart but the staff didn't know how to do it. Walgreens, a guy immediately noticed me at counter, zipped through the process, apologized for delay in machine function, and I was out just a few minutes later. GREAT SERVICE.”

“Again, I want to comment about this Pharmacy. They are the best in all Eugene and Springfield. They have truly saved our life. Jeff (Pharmacist) is the best there ever was. God Bless you all. Sharon Gelisse and George Voller.”

“This is a legit review. Any common chain places like this are gonna have a bunch of negative reviews. It was a mission and a half to try to get my prescription, luckily when the process got in the hands of this Walgreens pharmacy on Mohawk, it was a pain free easy process. Thanks Walgreens Pharmacy on Mohawk, appreciate you guys. It was a relief when it came to them”

“Claps to a grocery store for getting a 4-star review. Most aren't worth 2-star reviews. This became our grocery store of choice while we lived in the Eugene-Springfield metro. PROS: Clean... I mean, this tends to be a struggle with many stores. They do a nice job of keeping it clean. Organized... typically you find stores that are messy and not well stocked... this FM does a great job of staying stocked and organized.CONS: Staff is lacking. The self check-out is a mess. A dang hot mess. The computers don't work most of the time, you're always needing assistance and having to wait. There are never any of the little carts available... because they're scattered all over the parking lot. NEUTRALS: You'll likely smell an employee smoking grass in the back of the store. Always an interesting experience to smell active pot in a grocery store. Funny, we've been there twice now where management is actively working in the aisles, suffocating in the green fog, no one does a dang thing about it. Guess it is just Oregon? The management is obviously lacking at this location. Truly, a change in management would yield this store a 5-star grocery store in Springfield, Oregon.”

“☆Another shopping experience where its apparent that those already struggling to put food on the dinner table are being forced to prioritize their limited resources even more.Fred Meyer, along with Kroger brands, which I had no knowledge of until I spent many years in Kentucky, has always been my favorite Super Market , The 10 for 10 deal was a favorite event for me.Fred Meyer has an incredible Deli & Bakery, along with an equally impressive meat & and produce department. In addition, there are other departments, from clothing & shoesto toys, sporting, auto & household goods, allowing customers to check off a lot of items on your shopping list in one place.☆One way Fred Meyer is making it a bit easier for the American familyis with their ☆Rewards Program, which I am often able to save a significant amount of money using. Regarding some products I was noticing a higher price @ Fred Meyer than at another major competitor who doesn't have any club or reward programs, so at the end of the day it seems necessary to use multiple grocery & department stores in order to take advantage of the different sales & specials that each offer.* The savings at the Fred Meyer Fuel Station can be very impressive after a big shopping trip.”

“The pharmacist assistants were very courteous and helpful.

Update [ 04 - 30 - 2024 ]

May I request that the hours noted on the main page be adjusted to reflect pharmacy hours... store is open till 9 pm but pharmacy is open till 6 pm and closed on weekends. I was confused until I noted the pharmacy hours were separate from store hours. Thank you”

“Alberto and the rest of the staff at the pharmacy always go above and beyond. Taking the time to explain medications, refill processes or any other questions I've had. If I could rate them at 10 stars, I would give them 11.Thanks everyone, for working so hard to do your jobs in an ethical, professional and compassionate way”

“My go-to Walgreens! I've never had a problem there and staff was always nice and welcoming. The Pharmacy staff helped me deal with insurance issues when a prescription was not approved. When Bi-mart transferred pharmacy clients to Walgreens there was a bit of delay for a while, but that was a management and staffing issue in my opinion, and not a reflection of the staff that shows up to work and serves us.”

“My husband & I finished up at the emergency room at Willamette McKenzie hospital at 10 mins before Walgreens on Mohawk closed! The phamacist told us they were closing and asked if we could pick it up the next day. We explained that we live up river and because of circumstances, wouldn't be able to. He spoke with a coworker & they were able to fill it then! We appreciate their kindness!”
