The staff has been outstanding to every patient I’ve watched them interact with, my son needed to be seen for an injury and we were treated like a human being and not numbers. I love that the walls are colorfully painted rather than dreary and depressing like most hospitals. We got timely treatment and I’m thoroughly impressed

Your better of traveling to a different county. These people don't care or they would have never closed the other ER in downtown Eugene now there under staff has more patience from Springfield and Eugene. Reading some of the other reviews this place was horrible before the over load, I've never seen a place care less about patience then here in Eugene/Springfield it is just disgusting. You're hospital has a 2 star. Review fire your director or do something because this is just sad. I'll travel and extra our to be seen before I step foot in this ER

What is wrong with these doctors??? My boyfriend was passing out, we had to wait 5+ hrs and they forgot to give him the fluids they made us wait for and said uh...just drink some water

Been here for 8 hrs now in the ER & have not been seen. There are others who have been here for 12 - 14hrs, asked one of the nurses if it was considered busy, she said no this normal if not a slower night..?!? How is 14hrs normal, even 8?! Something is wrong with how the place is being ran or there is a need for another ER in town, how is this legal & acceptable? How do I report this? We’re all out here falling asleep on the floor & on benches, someone could die, how would they know or care? i haven’t eaten or drank anything since 12pm, I am completely dehydrated vomiting up stomach acid being told I can’t drink water in case they need to preform an emergency surgery… you think if an emergency surgery was in question I wouldn’t have been waiting here for so long possibly worsening my chances of survival… I have a breast fed 1 year old at home who is missing me expecting me to be home in the morning my heart is aching for her cause at this rate I highly doubt I’ll be there when she wakes up.. i have never been away from her this long & anytime I ask for an estimated time they give me the ring around, saying it’s too complicated to say, absolutely nothing. I understand the multifaceted factors that come into play but an average wait or a number would help to keep sane / something to look forward to & it’s not unheard of I’ve been to plenty of ERs in California (major cities sac & San Fran!) , Idaho, Portland, Ohio - gave me a freaking wait time or was on top of their wait times! Take some notes upper management it can be done, something is absolutely wrong here & for the record I am 28 years old with chronic issues & in all my life the longest I’ve ever spent in the ER was 8hrs including the being seen time. I would expect more from Eugene… get it together whoever’s running this or lack there of… will not be coming back here again. I pray all these people will be okay & will be seen instead of biting the bullet & just going home to suffer. Save your time go to McKenzie or Cottage Grove it’d be worth it. **longest wait time tonight/this morning was 17hrs! I’m still here going on 12hrs myself**

Believe the reviews, people. This hospital has 2 stars for a reason. I wish I would’ve gone anywhere else. I waited over 13 hours in tremendous amounts of pain before seeing a doctor, I was put into some sort of triage room and told to wait for the doctor after over 12 hours in the waiting room. The room had obviously not been cleaned, there were drops of blood on the floor, an overflowing basket of dirty linens in the corner, and used cups sitting by a sink behind me. I finally was transferred to a room with a bed just before the 14 hour mark where I was promptly misdiagnosed and sent home, despite expressing my concern to my doctor that it may be something else. The doctor was incredibly curt, and it seemed she had very little concern for anything other than getting me out of there as quickly as possible. I was back less than 12 hours later due to the issue worsening and that time I was correctly diagnosed, with the exact thing I had mentioned to the doctor on my first visit. Luckily, the doctor and nurse on the second trip seemed much more empathic and willing to help.

6 hrs wait time for ER. If u really have an emergency, I recommend going to Salem, Albany, Cottage Grove, Lebanon. Unless u don't mind wasting a day waiting for help. I always thought an emergency room, was for emergency help, not waiting for hours upon hours.

Took my Mom in for possibly having a stroke. We sat for 6 hours. Watched an elderly man who visibly had a stroke while waiting and nurse told him and his family there was nothing they could do for him. Absolutely horrible experience not for just for my mom but most everyone in there that night. Save yourself and possibly your family members and take them to McKenzie Willamette.I found it odd they had a sign in the waiting room that advised to “ACT FAST” if you have signs of a stroke.

Worst care I have ever received in my life. Don’t ever go here, unless you want to die from neglect. I have pneumonia and NO ONE helped me. When we complained they offered to check my vitals for the 5th time. As if that would make a difference. After 5 hours we decided to leave an go to a real hospital. I could have died. You should all be ashamed

Desperately wish we would have read reviews before coming here. Brought my daughter in with severe stomach pains at 10 pm last night and she was not taken back to see the doctor until 430 am the following morning. This place is a joke. McKenzie Willamette will be our go to in the future.

Over 7 hours and still haven't been seen for chest pains and kidney infection. I have told 3 separate phlebotomists and 2 other clinical staff to also test me for thyroid hormone problems considering the vast range of my other acute issues. Here's hoping that management can figure out how to get this ER and themselves in a more efficient order.

Super hit or miss depending on the staff on duty. Service will go from 5 stars to 1 star immediately after a shift change and vice versa. Night crew is rude, dismissive and condescending.

Currently waiting to be seen. 4 hours waiting with the same group of people. I watched several people who were very sick get up and leave because they were waiting for 3 hours +. Went in due to a severe back injury. Couldn't sit or stand or hardly walk. 4+ hours of excruciating pain. After a 7 hour wait. I was finally seen. They were extremely polite, efficient and caring. I just wish that the way the ran that front desk was the same. I saw so many people walk up and check out without being seen due to being there as long as I was. I literally was about to do the same but they called my name. Again be very aware that your gonna be waiting for a hot minute but when you get seen it will be great treatment

Went into ER the lobby was nearly full at noon on a Wednesday. Was triaged but then waited 9 hours in the waiting room. I couldn't do it anymore and left for McKenzie. It made my issue worse, I kept checking with the staff. The staff was nice but all seemed stressed and overworked. I cannot imagine how much busier this place will get once the downtown location closes. The whole time I was there they had 2-3 security guards with tazers standing in just that tiny area. They must have had issues before as I saw at 3 people that came in before me, yell and leave. It's not a problem with staff. I think this company is very poorly managed, from the top to middle management. They seem to keep cutting and cutting. All the locations (urgent care) say there understaffed, I don't think people wanna work there based on people I know and Glassdoor reviews.Stop blaming COVID, Do better CEO Liz Dunn. Do better. Or better yet leave and let someone else try.
